It's a very detailed report so hard to copy here but you can visit dailymail link for full details:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ritish-foreign-aid-money-asks-DAVID-ROSE.html

Let's see if Shahbaz and family are going sue Daily Mail for this report.

How low can the Sharif family go? Disgusting!

But must say, it isn't surprising. How will the patwari's defend this?

As everyone knows the UK has strict libel laws and i expecting the Sharifs to promise to sue but, just like NS , nothing will happen. This disgusting family with their disgusting apologists will buy any craap they tell them.

Time to find a video of secret meeting between Daily Mail and ISI.

How many of the Sharif family are on the run in the UK? From memory more are on the run than are actually in PK.

True more thn half of them are on UK right now. Where is the copy paste machine? I guess he is going through the time line of Geo Jang and PMLN media cells lifafas to come up with some points to defend?

Perhaps the Sharifs were merely keeping this money in a safe place until such a time as they could return it to Pakistan and spend it on schemes to give the people the lifestyle of Indians as per Mamoon logic? :13:

Khelo Dimag Se!

Uh oh, that guy is singing like a canary, they're done. He's explained how the laundering works

So they steal money from PK and go on the run to the UK. And I was thinking the same about the copy and paste machine.

Absolutely disgusting and seriously we are sick of posting their scandals but they never got sick of looting (and their supporters never get tired of defending).

When Panama scandal came out, we were all extremely positive despite our rigged justice system that Sharifs will find it hard to escape since this is international level leak. Everyone knew London flats had been owned since early 90s, Sharif family had given multiple statements so there was ZERO doubt.

What happened since?

Sharifs with the help of sold out media houses bosses and DUMB and dishonest anti establishment warriors turned it into war between "Establishment and democratic Sharifs". This helped them to become heroes despite presenting NOTHING (multiple neytrals have confirmed Sharifs failed to provide ANY money trail). They got away with Qatari letters, lies in the parliament, Iqamas etc etc

Shame on EVERYONE who provided these crooks excuses to loot and plunder just because they used anti establishment shield to save their backsides.

Perhaps the Sharifs were merely keeping this money in a safe place until such a time as they could return it to Pakistan and spend it on schemes to give the people the lifestyle of Indians as per Mamoon logic? :13:

Sharifs and Zardaris master plan was to buy 75% properties of London, Dubai, Paris and then handover to Govt of Pakistan who then would own these cities. There progress was at 1-2% when IK cut short their National-Interest-Plans. Apparently Sharifs and Zardaris were acting on a Nationalist agenda and IK is very Anti Nationalist.

These Sharifs are so stupid :)) The daughter in law of Showbaz is saying that if this Daily Mail report is true thn the report about IK being a playboy is true as well from Daily Mail. One should ask her when did we denied the fact that IK was a playboy in his playing days? Even the die hard IK fans don't deny this fact :))) Waseem Pakpak @@Bewal Express Mian

British government has responded and responded aptly.

UK aid rebuts Mail on Sunday story on support for earthquake victims

The Mail on Sunday has today published a story which asks the question in its headline: Did the family of UK aid’s poster boy steal taxpayers’ cash meant for earthquake victims?

It refers to Shahbaz Sharif the leader of Pakistan’s main opposition party who is accused of embezzling public funds. He denies any wrongdoing.

The paper suggests Sharif stole British taxpayers’ money given to Pakistan’s Earthquake Relief and Reconstruction Authority (ERRA), which was set up to help the victims of the 2005 Pakistan earthquake.

Our response to the question asked in the headline was robust and clear. It was carried close to the bottom of the 2,500 word story.

Here it is in full:

A Department for International Development spokesperson said:

“The UK’s financial support to ERRA over this period was for payment by results – which means we only gave money once the agreed work, which was primarily focused on building schools, was completed, and the work audited and verified.

“The UK taxpayer got exactly what it paid for and helped the vulnerable victims of a devastating earthquake. We are confident our robust systems protected UK taxpayers from fraud.”

The Mail on Sunday provides little substantial evidence to support its headline.

It says investigators in Pakistan “are convinced that some of the allegedly stolen money came from DFID-funded aid projects” without providing any substantial evidence this was the case with the earthquake fund.

The piece goes on to quote Shahzad Akbar, Imran Khan's Asset Recovery Unit chief, saying it “appears” some money “may” have been stolen from aid and development projects, again without offering any substantial evidence this was the case with ERRA.

DFID also gave The Mail on Sunday some background on its work in Pakistan.

We told the paper how DFID’s work is lifting millions of the poorest people out of poverty whilst improving stability and security in both the UK and Pakistan, which ultimately benefits the UK as well.

Over 10 million children in primary schools – including 4.7 million girls – have benefited from UK education programmes since 2011. Over 5.8 million children in secondary schools, including 2.7 million girls, have also benefited from our work.

In addition, the UK has supported over 8 million people in Pakistan following natural disasters and conflict since 2011.

https://dfidnews.blog.gov.uk/2019/0...nday-story-on-support-for-earthquake-victims/

The press release by DFID is not even a rebuttal or clarification, ofcourse donor agency is not stupid to admit that taxpayers money was used in corruption and laundering later.

So when are the Sharifs taking Daily Mail to courts in UK? This is the third report against them by Daily Mail in recent times.

Bewal Express what are chances of this issue now going into UK parliament? Tax payers money is involved.

Bewal Express what are chances of this issue now going into UK parliament? Tax payers money is involved.

You have to have a strong lobby to do that. Some people will no doubt raise the issue but the last thing the DFID will admit to is that huge amounts of the Foreign aid budget is being used by criminals like SS to buy properties especially as many people believe the budget too high and easily abused

Your zero tolerance and family-taught morals have been clearly disproved on numerous occasions shown by your support for the corrupt family politicians.

Of course the DFID will attempt to cover itself.

Can you provide evidence of the education programmes put in place?

I am also waiting from 3 years to see if they are going to sue ICIJ for Panama Leaks, BBC for the money laundering documentary on Sharifs from 2 decades....

Chor Talent will also endorse this. Noony tooms are beghairat and ghatiya log. You can tell by Talent and the fake Pakistani DR on this forum. They are morally corrupt and deserve all the humiliation that they face on a daily basis.

We want this allegedly pervert Shahbaz to pay back our tax payers money. Bloody chor!

Making an enemy of the Daily mail? Not very wise. They're literally aimed at right wing bigots, they will eat you alive and get their rabid readership to chase you out of the country

I wouldn't trust anything the Daily Mail says, despite being anti PMLN to the core. Pakistanis need to learn to stop cleaning your laundry in public. Domestically we can all debate, but internationally you have to be united regardless of your political affiliation.

If Daily Mail cared that much about Pakistan, why aren't they talking about how Mi6 colluded with Altaf Hussain throughout the late 90s and early 2000s or the fact Britain refuses to extradite Ishaq Dar?

Also, UKAid has already denied it.

That being said, this entire family is disgusting.

They're coming at it from the point of view that all uk foreign aid is bad, and that Johnny foreigner needs to sort himself out and this UK tax money should be spent on the British.

Unfortunately there are people like Jacob Zuma (used it to finish his mansion) and now the Sharifs who help build that particular case.

Just heard David Rose on Malik's TV show. He said he's had a history of working with lawyers, activists and journalists who work with human rights groups and it was him himself who decided to investigate it after he suspected Pakistan's then government of gobbling up his country's aid money themselves by laundering every cent instead of giving it to the poor, the actual recipients of the aid.. He said he has all the documentation to prove it hence his report. PMLN are free to sue him. :))

He said PMLN are free to sue him but he knows their threats are empty like last years threats when he posted the Penthouse Pirates. :)) He said he approached PMLN countless times to rebut the story, everytime he was ignored or they'd avoid his calls and e-mails. He says despite Geo's denials about Ishaq Dar's extradition and the MOU with UK, their denials are a lie. And there are indeed talks to bring Ishaq Dar and then Nawaz's sons back to the UK.

Poor Ishaq Dar is getting cursed by Pakistanis everywhere he goes in the . He might just extradite himself!

Agree to some extent but it's not about Dailymail, Wall Street Journal, BBC, ICIJ have all accused Sharifs of corruption and we know their reputation back in Pakistan so surely we aren't falling for any propaganda here by dailymail. Also, "penthouse Pirates" story few months ago by dailymail also exposed unknown properties of Sharifs but they failed to take them to court despite threatening them few times.

The biggest thing is that Pmln was trying to portray cases against them as politically motivated in international media. This puts a damper on it.

I think we live in two different worlds, majority of people (PTI supporters or neutrals) believe if PMLN leadership don't take Dailymail to court then it's admission of guilt. In fact a PMLN leader Ahmed Malik said that he would be deeply disappointed (and will leave PMLN) if they didn't take WSJ to court after "Abraaj" claims of demanding $20m...guess what? they did NOT.

In the world of PMLN supporters, it's Pak/UK government's responsibility to start legal battle against DFID
And then "jhoot k paon nahi hotay bhai" just takes the cake :)):))

Let's see Showbiz make a fool out of dishonest and gullible Nooras. I can't wait for this, but I am still waiting for the law suit from last year and all the other ones promised by these crooks.

Shobaz in his presser mentioned today that if the verdict in UK court come against him he will leave politics... Well we have been hearing these type shobaazyan from him since decades... One should ask him why his son in law the main culprit is not returning to Pak?

LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Lahore, on Wednesday moved to get all movable and immovable properties in the country of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz president Shahbaz Sharif, his sons Hamza and Suleman and other family members frozen in connection with an investigation against them in the income-beyond-means and money laundering case.

NAB action follows a report in a British newspaper alleging that Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif during his tenure as Punjab chief minister had embezzled the UK grant meant for relief activities after the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan. Mr Sharif has denied the allegations.

The NAB Lahore on Wednesday wrote to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), director general of the excise and taxation department, Model Town Housing Society secretary, Judicial Employees Cooperative Housing Society secretary and Galliat Development Authority director general, informing them that the competent authority had taken cognizance of offence(s) committed by Mr Sharif, his sons and others in assets disproportionate to their known sources of income and money laundering case and, therefore, their moveable and immovable properties should be frozen with immediate effect.

NAB asked the SECP to mark caution upon the transfer of shareholdings of Ramzan Sugar Mills, European-Asian Trading Corporation (Pvt) Ltd, Madina Trading (Pvt) Ltd, Sharif Mills (Pvt) Ltd, Madina Construction Company (Pvt) Ltd, Sharif Poultry Farms (Pvt) Ltd and Sharif Daily Farms (Pvt) Ltd. The watchdog has attached properties of Hamza Shahbaz, who is in NAB custody in connection with the income-beyond-means and money laundering case, in Lahore. These include four residential plots measuring one kanal and five marlas, one kanal and four marlas, one kanal and seven marlas and one kanal and eight marlas in the Judicial Employees Cooperative Housing Society.

In a letter to the Haripur deputy commissioner, NAB said that during the course of investigation three properties in Haripur owned by Mr Shahbaz’s wife Tehmina Durrani had been identified which should be made case property with immediate effect.

NAB has also attached two residential properties of Mr Sharif which are in the name of his other wife Nusrat in Model Town (96 and 87 H-Block). Nusrat Shahbaz’s 9-kanal house in Murree’s Dounga Gali has also been attached. Four Toyota Land Cruiser SUVs owned by Mr Sharif have also been marked as case property.

During the investigation, NAB said, it had found that Shahbaz Sharif, Hamza and Suleman had accumulated assets to the tune of Rs3 billion which were disproportionate to their known sources of income. “The suspects in order to justify the acquisition of assets have mentioned foreign remittances worth Rs1.3bn,” it earlier said.

The anti-graft watchdog had alleged that most of the remittances were fictitious and the process of remittances was used for “laundering the assets” disproportionate to their known sources of income. Mr Suleman’s “key frontman” Mohammad Mushtaq received fictitious remittances of Rs600 million in his accounts on his (Suleman’s) behalf to conceal the origin of funds and subsequently transferred the amount to Mr Suleman.

Talking to Dawn, PML-N information secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb said: “Desperate, frustrated, incompetent and incapable Prime Minister Imran Khan and his regime have no other way to divert people’s attention away from their failures other than by victimising Shahbaz Sharif in a new way every other day.”

The former information minister added: “Freezing all properties of Shahbaz Sharif is an act of pure vengeance without any legal justification or plausible evidence.” She said that like “all other such baseless acts of political vandalism”, this too would be disproven in the court of law.

150 bank accounts in 16 different banks belonging to Shahbaz Sharif and his family have been frozen on the orders of NAB.

This is just a complaint to keep thick Noora happy. The real action will start when the law suit starts, but that ain't happening because SS and has son in law would have to take the stand.
