ATTOCK: At least 17 passengers were injured after eight bogies of the Peshawar-bound Khushhal Express derailed between Attock and Mianwali on Sunday.
Rail traffic was suspended after the incident took place between the Sohan Bridge and Makhad Road railway stations.
The train, which had departed from Karachi on Saturday, was en route to Peshawar via Mianwali and Attock.
Sources in the railway department said a rescue train had been sent to the site of the incident from Kundian Junction.
