Named : the two individuals identified as Lewis Gabriel Dee (36) and Anueshi Emma Christine (36).

Seems a weird thing to do as a tourist, especially in one of the Pro Palestinian countries in the world.

It seems they deliberately picked Pushkar, as it is a well-known tourist destination in Rajasthan and is also considered popular among Israeli tourists. :kp

I know many white Brits, they regret going to India. In the 60's-90's it was a hippy scene, half decent country now its no better than any African 3rd world nation.

This is bad publicity for Indian tourism. MOST Brits esp those who travel a lot are PRO-Palestine. Some will call for a boycott.

However Pakistan is no different, both leadership’s bend that knee to Zionism

Do you fall asleep to photos of dead Palestinian babies as well? in support of your Jewish State?
Do you sleep when Hamas terrorist 1300+ Israel people's. No need to Play victims mentally infront of me.

I'm bored of it.

India won't tolerate any anti Israel drama from the tourist.

Our country, our rules.

:klopp :kp

Why does the Jewish state need intervention from Indian authorities on their behalf?
They violated the terms of their tourist visas, stressing that engaging in political activities or showing disrespect toward other countries while in India, breaches visa regulations.

Why aren’t tourists allowed to speak their mind ? Is it ok for Indians to chant anti Israel rhetoric?

Tourists aren’t allowed to to do their politics in India, they can do that in their country of origin

Its not a news that India isn't a preferred tourism destination as such.
Its a crowded nation, the weather is mostly extreme, there is a lot of visible poverty, infrastructure is poor, traffic, safety issues etc etc are all the reasons that would drive tourism away.

We get mostly business visitors, medical visitors and a niche category of cultural-spirituality tourists.

The only good news is that we are not tourism dependent nation and our domestic tourism is mostly enough to sustain businesses at tourist places.

Indians themselves are emerging as tourists to various countries. Compared to 10 million annual visitors to India, 30 million Indians themselves trave to other countries.

Looks like a stupid gimmick to be honest if you're a tourist- why can't you protest in your own country?

All the people who have issues with India, tell it to brit Pakistanis of pp only

🤣🤣

Regardless of your thoughts on India and Israel it is very unwise to go around making political statements as a tourist. Who exactly are they protesting to? A government that is not theirs. Most nations are wary of these types of things as it is often a way for foreign intelligence to spread mischief. Not saying this was the case here, but India have every right to depot these people, and they probably would have been deported even if they were spreading pro Israel slogans.

Yes but you specifically took exception to them protesting against the Jewish State. You could just have said foreigners should not protest against anyone including Pakistan or Turkey for example.

Yes ,I like Jewish state more than any Muslim who only spread the terrorism around the World and it's my personal opinion.

What's your problem ? Why you're hurting?

You presented it as a breach of law and not your opinion in your original post. Do you want me to requote it?

I get out of the house , try it sometime.

I would rather eat my own shoe than visit India, its hardly a desirable destination. This makes no difference to Palestine or myself. Less and less are going to India now. Smart move

These British tourists were white, they weren't radical Islamists. All you are doing here is confirming you are a radical hindutva.
Whoever these idiots are , they have violated visa rules and we have ever right to kicked out them from india.

They can do whatever they want to in the UK. No Stop crying

So you want to present white Brits as radical Islamists, but you don't like it when you are called a radical hindutva?

Why is that? Are you ashamed to admit in public?

Can you provide the exact clause in the Visa ?
Clause 15. Restriction on engaging in tabligh activities
Foreign nationals granted any type of visa and OCI cardholders shall not be permitted to engage
themselves in tabligh work. There will be no restriction in visiting religious places and attending
normal religious activities like attending religious discourses. However, preaching religious
ideologies, making speeches in religious places, distribution of audio or visual display/ pamphlets
pertaining to religious ideologies, spreading conversion etc. will not be allowed.

I don't know if you've actually read the article or looked at the data? Almost the entire decline in tourist arrivals is attributable to Bangladeshi tourists. There were almost 1.75M Bangladeshi tourist arrivals in 2024...most of them, I assume were medical tourists which has slowed to a trickle in 2025.

Arrivals from all other countries has actually shown an increase except for a brief dip during the conflict between India and Pakistan when a lot of tourists cancelled trips.

The world has beautiful places, India is not one of them.

Yes that's true. It's growing but not at pre-COVID levels yet. Still close to 10 million tourists though. I'm not sure how you explain that for the ugly place you think India is. The truth is that India's a developing country and yes a difficult often frustrating place to visit but still so diverse, vibrant and historical that millions find their way here.

How many of these "Foreign Tourists" are actually Indian heritage without NRI cards.
Nobody knows but anecdotally key tourists sites in India are getting overcrowded with 'foreign' tourists.

I was in Jaipur a couple of weeks ago for the big literature festival and there were more foreigners than Indians - thousands of them.

That was my point. I made the point earlier, India was a huge tourist destination for the hippy type travellers and even families. It was seen as a safe place, liberal etc. Now with RSS its seen as extremism is running rife. The Dehli bus rape was a huge story here too. Not to mention the hoards of Indians who are arriving in the UK arent those who came here in the 60's,70's.

Mumbai, old delhi, kolkats and other cities in up, bihar do not compose entire India.

North east, south, goa, gujrat and interior mah, uttarakhand, ladakh, himaxhal, jammy are all much better.

Most tourists go to mumbai, old delhi, agra, up, kolkata which have the poorest hygiene and over population issues.

Here's the data on top 5 Foreign Tourist Arrivals

A million Brits came to India in 2024. Not NRIs...Brits. Since you claim to know so many whites, could you convince a few to skip the Jaipur Literature Fest? I've been going there for 8 years now and hotel rates going through the roof since these guys are grabbing up all the rooms and paying in dollars and pounds for what I think is pretty low value.

Nobody really cares, tourism overall in the last 5 years is declining and i have given my opinion as to why, feel free to disagree.

Im more interested in the topic at hand.

Where does it state in the visa conditions a tourist cannot raise a national flag or sticker while in the country?

Lot of people get out of their houses other than ppposters or brit Pakistani variety

I don't know. Feels impolite. If Indian tourists turn up in the UK and raise slogans and distribute posters against Pakistan, feel free to deport them.

Couldn’t care less about brits coming or not coming to India, follow our laws or get out, brit passports don’t mean anything extra

Political activity isn’t allowed for tourists in India,

If tourism means we have to change pur laws or allow special privileges for xyz passport, it aint happening

I agree room rent in India is now at ridiculous levels and going to a south Asian destination like vietnam ois cheaper than goa

Show the visa conditions where it clearly states no flags or stickers of foreign nations arent allowed when in India?

I don’t need to show anything the government has deported the offenders and thats the end of that, whether a brit Pakistani agrees with that hardly matters

Good.

India has its own problems. They don't need international problems in their lands. :mv

Because there isnt. India is in the Zionist camp, Modi danced like a monkey Infront of Netanyahoo and Trump, he is compromised, therefore such actions take place. Nothing do with our nation our laws.

Goodnight.

That's quite poor. Less than 10Million tourists entering a country fo 1.5Billion, especially if anyone is making a claim that India is a great country for tourists.
