2 more sitting MNAs of PMLN likely to join PTI - Dr Ramesh Kumar & Bilal Virk

The list is getting long many sitting MPAs and MNAs of ruling party PMLN are joining PTI from last 2 months and i can see a massive boost in this trend when election date comes closer because most of them are just waiting for development funds before jumping out of the ruling party.

I still remember how quickly many jumped the sinking ship of PMLQ and joined PMLN in their final days.

That was back in 2002 when he won first time but later the degree requirement was removed. Will try to find the list to see how many of those 100+ electables who joined PMLN from PMLQ are now moved to PTI from PMLN.
 
PML-N lawmaker Ramesh Kumar to join PTI

LAHORE: Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar will also join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf if the policy of confrontation is not ended, claimed MNA Ramesh Kumar, who has decided to part ways from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and join PTI.

According to Ramesh, the formal announcement will be made during a joint press conference alongside Imran Khan and other PTI senior leaders on Saturday. Kumar is apparently upset with the confrontation policy of the Nawaz camp but refused to divulge details of his dismay with the party and wanted to withhold his reasons until making a formal announcement. He said that he would have left the party on that very day when Nawaz Sharif and his close aids started ranting against our state institutions.

He said that he was staying back in the party because of senior party leaders such as party Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and former interior minister Nisar. He added that they opted to give respect to all institutions of the country, which gives him hope that there was light at the end of the tunnel.

However, he said that the party has gone far ahead with its policy of confrontation. He said that sane voices of the party, promoting unity amongst institutions are losing their ground fast.

He said that party overall is advancing with the policy of confrontation, but by-and-large, this policy was not appreciated in the party.

Kumar said that this was the reason why veteran leaders of the party did not show up at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) hearings or the Supreme Court hearings. He said, “Soon people will also be hearing Chaudary Nisar leaving the party and joining PTI,” and added that the reason to continue his association with PML-N even after they had started with their policy of confrontation was that he did not want to leave his party high and dry.

Kumar said that that PML-N has been trying to cover up their tracks by accusing the establishment. He said that it was not the establishment but the policy of the party, which was forcing him to leave the party.

“The party has done nothing for minorities,” he said and added that if the party was serious about the minorities living in Pakistan, they wouldn’t have posted Siddiqul Farooq as Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) chairman. He said that he went to the court against Farooq in protest.

Federal Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan said that he was never a party loyalist and was taken in the party on the request of Lashkar Raisani. He said that such people come and go in the party.

The minister said that there were powers working against the party and added that those powers were forcing people to abandon PML-N. Mushahidullah said that those powers do not want to see PML-N in power again and added that several leaders will again change their loyalties when ordered.

There are a lot of Hindus in Sindh, in fact, there is a Hindu majority city as well.

You would be more surprised to know that a lot of filthy rich land lords in Sindh are Hindu. And when I mean filthy rich, I mean they have more money than people like me and you can even count. The Hindu-Muslim bond in Sindh is quite amazing too! A relatively secular part of Pakistan.

Indeed, I believe that part of Pakistan is full of "Muhajirs" - those who hailed from India and crossed over during partition.

Sindhis are prevalent in Rajasthan and Gujarat also, and yes, money is a big focus for them.

The Muhajirs are primarily Muslim. The Hindus living in Sindh are ethnically from Sindh and have been here for hundreds of years; which is why they own a lot of land.

And I don't really know if money is a big focus for them, they just have a lot of it because they've been in the area for a long time.
