The guy has terrible interantional stats for T20, and then if you look at his T20 domestic stats.

264 matches and 277 wickets.

Barely 1 wicket per match

Can you some bowlers who have played over 250 matches and who have enough wickets to be good stats?

Bhai you've forgot to mention the 7.18-25 economy rate. In t20 economy > wickets

Clearly, the OP and them lot have a negative bias against the Great One ~ The Legend of Legends, the Scythe Wielding Phenom and the most prolific T20 bowler to ever grace Humanity.

His true genius is with the bowl in hand yet at the same time he has this intrinsic ability to unleash the Viv within him and quiver his foes while putting the fear of God among them. Akin to bein the Wasim Akram of our generation (Was actually compared to him quite recently Abdullah719 can testify to this) Sohail 'Phenom' Tanvir, is undoutedly the greatest of them all.

:))

back in the day i was a big fan of this guy. I used to tune into Rajistan royal matches just for him. Was really proud that a bowler of Pindi was playing in Pakistan team

But the t20 specialist doesnt look like a specialist to me

You are right, but dont forget Sohail Tanvir opens the attack.

Bowlers who open the attack are wicket takers and not run stoppers. Plus this guy had decent pace to take wickets.

I would choose Rumman Raees over him, because Rumman offers different varieties

Coz Pakistanis have a tendency of rewarding mediocrity if he is even slightly unconventional. Case in point, his action.

Yes, he was compared to Waz during his GOAT spell of 5/3 in CPL.

In all seriousness, he has somehow finished as top wicket-taker in CPL and deserves credit for that... obviously he knows how to go about his business on such pitches.

He is also usually selected in other leagues also, specially PSL but it's CPL only where he's a real 'star'... don't ask me why. Wasn't all that flashy with the bat either but he opened the innings several times including in the knockouts.

He is an extremely useful utility cricket - In league cricket i.e. Probably the fast bowling (lesser) equivalent of Hafeez, while Hafeez is much much superior with the bat (Actually it's not even a competition) but Dr. Phenom with his variations and the some 'slogging' ability is in the mould of the former and provides a good balance to sides looking for blokes who can be useful with either facet of the game.

The only downsize to this God's gift to humanity is that fielding of his ~ Had he even been at Sher Khan's level of feilding he would've certainly made the bigs bucks in other international leagues as well.
