Out of this list, Afridi and Junaid pulled out yesterday due to BPL commitments (though Junaid was picked anyway ).

If players are signed to both BPL and T20GL teams, I think they'll have to pick one.

Owners of Qalandars and Zalmi in PSL both bought franchises in this league, hence the copied names.

How sohail tanvir didnt get selected is beyond me...he is one of the best bowlers in these t-20 leagues and was available as he isnt in the BPL roster yet! Though expect him to be there now

I guess a a fair decision in that case. Tbh I wish Pakistani players were playing Global T20 over BPL. Competition will be better in South Africa

Scheduling. Dates likely to clash with:

a) Quaid-e-Azam Trophy
b) National T20 Cup
c) BPL
d) West Indies tour of Pakistan

Not even sure whether the selected players will be available for the start of the tournament. The T20GL starts on 3rd November and the National T20 Cup starts on 4th November. By the time the National T20 Cup has finished, almost half of the T20GL league matches will have been played... so if PCB once again forces the players to play the National T20 Cup as was originally planned then they'll be available for half the T20GL matches, at best.
