Although 90s was a good era for slow sentimental songs, but at one point of time making similar kinds of love songs again and again and in bulk quantity made 90s too monotonous era for music with lesser variety and experiments, only particular style of nadeem sharavan kind of music was highlight of 90s and they themselves were too repetitive with their songs
On personal level i prefer 2000 to be pretty balanced era for music which had melodies like 90s and some experimental work too
no idea about music after 2010s , after 2013 i lost interest in bollywood music so anyone can put opinion on music afterwards ,

and here it is completely different style of song and singing texture,
