He said 30 high-level teams comprising defence ministers, defence secretaries and services chiefs are attending the biennial event.
“The defence industries of Turkey, China, Russia, North America, South America, Europe and Asia will have a significant presence,” he said.
Nine new countries which include Luxembourg, Denmark, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Belgium, Nigeria and Romania are also attending the event.

Interested to see the new drone that will be unveiled by the people who made the Buraq. They have named it the Arrow and right now are making tall claims about it capabilities, however there are no pictures or video available right now.

Sad to see that this the only exhibition of international stature that we can hold! About arms/guns/bombs...

There used to be a good exhibition by foreign universities in Karachi during the Mush era, I don't know if happens now or not.

This is all good but they need serious work on robotics (AI) and cyber warfare.

Was reading Nazi Germany's technological achievements while the second World War was going on. Some of those inventions were so far ahead of their time it is unbelievable. If Germany had been able to hold for a year of two longer then Hitler may have won.

The point I'm making is if a country has to advance technologically they have be self-sufficient in military hardware and have excellent capabilities of research and development this will have a drip down effect and you would see scientific advancements being made in other fields as well. BMW used to make airplanes for Nazi Germany and the technical know how they gained from the war allowed them to make cars that are revered the world over. The culture of military research has enabled Germany to be one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world and they alone are holding up the EU on their shoulders.

We need to invest large sums of money on producing jet engines, radars, battle tanks and eventually fifth gen fighters completely on our own. The technical know how gained will enable us to build cars, heavy machinery, industrial machinery etc completely on our own.
