Not many I am afraid.

Sharjeel Khan, Umar Akmal, Nasir Jamshed are just a few more names that are mentioned for this sorry reason so looks like the lessons have not been completely learnt.

But how could they be?

The 3 villains of that summer in 2010 are functioning in some capacity in Pakistan cricket - whilst Amir was re-admitted to international cricket, Salman Butt (PSL, domestic) and Mohammad Asif (domestic) are part of the system.

So what did we learn and if we did learn, did we put those learnings to any use?

What we learnt is let them fix ban them for lenghty periods only to bring them back in 2 or 3 years :sharjeel

None whatsoever. We still have a culture of protecting match-fixers and blaming the accusers rather than the accused. Take a look at how people defend Sharjeel in spite of what happened to Jamshed.

The only solution to eradicating match-fixing and spot-fixing is to adopt a zero tolerance policy and hand out life bans with no exceptions.

Unfortunately this!

It's all well and good having players sitting in a classroom and telling them about it, but it's another to actually punish players properly.

Also why are Board officials not dealt with, as they should be. Instead they escape justice.
