For every rights violation, there are probably hundreds of such great moments where the Army hold themselves in restraint, behave according to protocol and with humanity.

One can confidently make this assertion because you have such a heavily militarized area, a local population that's mostly only armed with stones and yet they haven't been crushed into submission. Take a step back and think. This is the reality.

Now please post such pictures of troublesome areas of Pakistan where the locals wave another country's flag in front of your forces without being shot dead. Or a kid aims a catapult at your forces and they just play along.

If I'm dumb, brain washed and have no prospects because of no education, I probably would. But again, I'm not so dumb to not realize that if I pelt stones at an army, they are going to retaliate. Imagine someone pelting stones at Chinese army, US army they would blast these idiots with bazookas.

Nobody is going into each house and raping your daughters and murdering your brothers as cuckoos are claiming. This is a temporary measure that will last for a few days. The restrictions are not going to be permenant. This is to make sure Kashmiris have time to digest the news instead of running around the streets with emotion and getting hurt. Trust me, sitting in the house safely is a better option than getting hurt by the army. It's just temporary

As i said, emotions are high right now. People dying now is bad for Kashmiris and bad for GOI. Look at every statement by BJP after abrogation. It's all the right noises like development, education, healthcare etc. Consider this a cool down period so people can have some time to mull it over. I'm not naive to think there won't be protests soon. But it will be different after a cool off period. At least that's the idea. It's called preventive custody which I agree is a kind of house arrest but the reasons are what I indicated above. People were scared 36 hours ago that Army is going to kill them all. Now that some time has passed and nothing of that sort happened, there will be relief and slowly there will be relaxation of restrictions.

You will say the same thing about GOI as well considering they passed the laws without the involvement of Kashmiris. It doesn't matter at this point. You were given 70 years. You chose peace, then terrorism. That's where you lost the right to choose. Now decisions will be made for you irrespective of you thinking whether people have a clue or not. As I said earlier, don't worry about uneding curfiews. I'm sure the restrictions will be relaxed around Indian independence day when you will all look at Indian flag all over J&K. You've been confused long enough with so many flags and loyalties. Since you haven't been able to pick one in 70 years, you will now be given the one flag you need for eternity.
