Another young guy picking his favorite XI

Warner
Azhar Ali
Kohli
Smith
Sanga
KP
Ashwin
Ajmal
Steyn
Asif
Starc

Doesn’t have any allrounder except Ashwin but doesn’t really matter.

My fav 11 from those I watched live since 2000....
Hayden
Sehwag
Ponting
Sachin
Kohli~
Flintoff
Gilchrist
Warne
Akram
Steyn
Bond

~ wanted to put lara in place of kohli in terms of reputation and sheer greatness.
But I don't I recall him challenging india i.e entertaining when I watched live.

My X1:
Hayden
Sehwag
Ponting
Sachin
Lara
Kallis
Gilchrist
Warne
Akram
McGrath
Donald

12th Man - Murali

Put Kallis at number 6 but again he is such a great player, so had to fit him somewhere. Murali and Donald can be interchanged based on the pitch they play on. Perfect balance in the team. 3 amazing fast bowlers, one very good all rounder and 2 great spinners. The batting is perfect.

1 - Mathew Hayden
2 - Saeed Anwar
3 - Sachin Tendulkar
4 - Brian Charles Lara
5 - Mohd Yousuf
6 - Yuvraj Singh

How does one not pick Philander in a post-2010 test team? Guy is a fantastic bowler and a more than useful batsman.
