A youngster in Naarwe

Hm... Is this forum for a cricket diary as well?

Let me try and see how it goes =P

So today was the first time this year in nets, facing one fast bowler, two spinners and two watta bowlers. I used my friends bat as mine was not knocked enough.

Personally I don't think it wen't very well. Was struggling most of the time, could not middle the ball properly and lost my balance from time to time. Had a few good shots here and there, but usually they don't travel far.

However, I will give myself benefit of the doubt as it was the first outing this year.

Ok, firstly I seem to struggle to play spinners on the off side. I feel I have all the time in the world to play a shot, then I try do something out of the book and end up with a cross batted shot that does not even go far. Any tips?
