After Boom Boom Misbah, wonder who else can light up the skies tonight :)
 
Waiting for nasir batting but i am not sure if they will rest their senior players or will go with same batting line.
 
Falcons won the Toss and will Bat First
 
No changes in batting line for Lahore only 2 changes in bowling.

Yes, he is quite a talent, but I heard he was not in the squad? But after looking at the squads again I do see his name :)

I am looking forward to watch Fazl-e-Rabbi's swing bowling.

Bowling at a really good pace. Bowls one outside off stump and the batsman slashes for four

I tell you this kid has potential. Definitely bowling over 140ks,and a good line as well
 
Falcons have appalling batting!Thank God for PSL which will see more even teams.
 
Have PCB 'disappeared' Aamir had him undergo reconstructive facial surgery so he is unrecognisable and reintroduced him to cricket as Mohammed Aftab with no cricinfo stats at all but he goes straight into Premier T20 team in Pakistan ?
 
On my jerky low grade stream he looks a bit like Asif !

Have they somehow amalgamated & cloned Aamir and Asif ?
 
:ll are too strong but they do give youngsters opportunity like Irfan, Aftab and Zia.
 
The problem is that Abbottabad are hitting boundaries but not maximizing it as they are not going for singles sadly
 
Sajjad hit a 6 but no singles from other 5 balls! Misbah school of batting.This problem starts at domestic cricket!

Cheema bowls around late 130s early 140s and Cheema looked quicker than him.

Shame PCB pays zero attention to accessories like speed guns that could make a broadcast more fun to watch!
 
Barring :kami .. :ll is quite awesome team... hope they'll become A bit more strong if :kami is replaced by Umar Siddique..
 
I hope Wahab Riaz is taking a good look, either Zia or Aftab will kick him out of the team for good.
 
Aftab looked awesome. He should be drafted into T20 team along with Zia, Adil or Asad Ali. It's not like Junaid should be playing T20s anyways.

Also, Aftab looked taller than Aamir. Probably 6 1 or 6 2.

Really excited about Aftab...inshallah we get to see him in the Pakistan team.

But he isnt that tall i think. He was standing with Hafeez and was just a little taller than him.
 
This should be the way forward

T20s: Young and new blood (Zia, Irfan, Aftab, Adil)

ODIs: Established player and seasoned performers (Irfan, Junaid, Anwar Ali and Sadaf)

Test: Mix of both (Irfan, Junaid, Adil, Rahat)

He was at least 2 ft taller than Yahya :amir
 
What I like about Hafeez is that he is giving a chance to Zia and Aftab despite having more economical bowlers like Abdul Razzaq.

Even in T20 Internationals, he gave Shehzad and Jamshed a good run as openers since T20 WC (where he played Raza Hassan in most matches).

He is definitely a better choice in ODIs than Misbah.
 
Still a bit raw. His flaws should be ironed out in International Cricket like it was the case with Amir.
