Allah Mohammad Ghazanfar took a 6-fer against Bangladesh today and engendered an epic collapse to lead his side to victory in Sharjah in the 1st ODI between the two sides.

how can u name your kid allah as a muslim?
Maybe he has a middle name that is missing

I’ve head Allah-baksh as a name. Allah Ditta is also a Punjabi name. But yeah it’s not common to just have Allah alone in names

Saw him in the ACC emerging cup, he’s a proper replacement for Mujeeb Zadran

Imagine this spin attack

Rashid Khan
Noor Ahmed
Mujeeb Zadran
Ghazanfar
Mohammad Nabi

Then reserves in Imrul Qais
Waqar Salamkheil

These guys have spinners that could all be first teamers for Pakistan. They don’t have seamers so their spinners feel compelled to lift it for their side.

i am no religious expert, but those 99 names are all adjectives, traits which humans can have, however allah leterally means god, the god. maybe im wrong, which is fine, but going around calling a person allah just seems strange.
Yes right, it is scholarly consensus that names that belongs only to God are prohibited , like Allah, Al-Rab, Al-Ahad etc.

Other names which doesn't only belong to god but people also , anyone can use it.

What a start for this youngster. Afghanistan has like a factory of spinners. Every new comer seems better than the earlier ones.

Having an eye on him since U19 worldcup, This guy is special talent and a like to like replacement for Mujeeb or may be even better.

His middle name is Mohammad.

2/35 in 10 overs for this lad today. Good but couldn't help his team avoid the defeat against Najmul Hossian Shanto led side.

Allah Ghazanfar, an 18-year-old Afghanistan spinner, has sparked attention for his unique schedule, where he alternated between participating in the 50-over U19 Asia Cup and the Abu Dhabi T10 League within the same week.

Both events are taking place in the United Arab Emirates, leading Ghazanfar to travel frequently between Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. Here’s a timeline of events that started last week: by this point, he had already featured in three matches for Team Abu Dhabi in the T10 league this season.

Nov 27: Abu Dhabi v Braves (Abu Dhabi)
Nov 29: Afghanistan U19 v Bangladesh U19 (Dubai)
Nov 30: Abu Dhabi v Warriors (Abu Dhabi)
Dec 1: Afghanistan U19 v Sri Lanka U19 (Sharjah)
Dec 1: Abu Dhabi v Bulls (Eliminator – Abu Dhabi)

Allah Ghazanfar in ODIs:

AM Ghazanfar was named Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance, taking 5 wickets for 33 runs in 10 overs during the 3rd ODI against Zimbabwe.

This is going to be the next big star in cricket. Saw his bowling on youtube. His run up is different and even has a delivery that turns the other away

Good bowler. Afghanistan has a whole crop of some great spinners. Definitely going to be one of the best
