Houston-based rapper Travis Scott woke up to a bizarre surprise as thousands of Indian cricket fans stormed his social media, blaming him for yet another stellar knock against India. The confusion arose as fans mistook him for Australian cricketer Travis Head, who has been tormenting Team India in crucial matches.

“Oye learn ke pakodo mae wo Travis nahi hu.” a bewildered Scott reportedly said, as his Instagram filled with comments like “Virat is your daddy.”and “You are not him”, “Kya bola thha 100 crore ko chup krwayega? Ab bol na.”

Lol. Some Indian fans often tag the wrong accounts on social media without thinking. Just a few days ago, some mistakenly flooded the official 'Philips' page with bizarre comments, assuming it belonged to NZ cricketer Glenn Phillips. Many also seem to believe that hurling abuses online is their birth right, as if it somehow makes them more patriotic. This kind of behavior is truly embarrassing. :facepalm :inti

LOL.

How can they mess this up? One is a black guy named Travis Scott. Another is a white guy named Travis Head.

Mindboggling. :inti

there are few more scary stats in the world than the fact that 2/3rds of indians don't have consistent internet connectivity yet. this is the top 1/3rd, lol.

This sounds like it’s the equivalent of Eugene thinking he won the world heavyweight championship :yk

How the heck do Indians confuse Travis Scott for Travis head?

One is black and the other is white? I thought that was the clearest example? 💀
