a batsman with a list a average of 50+ got to play only 3 odis for pakistan

but this is the same country where a first class average of 56 earns you 3 tests only

same is happening with khurram manzoor. he is a brilliant 50 overs player but he has been written off because of struggling in t20s on very green tracks where 90% of the batsmen failed to score runs

EXACTLY. Khurram Manzoor has been labelled a hack by so many on this forum simply for failing in a t/20 tournament played in minefields when he wasn't even a t/20 player to begin with.

Khurram looked a very ugly player when he played. However, he should be afforded more chances of he is performing.

Watched him and Sharjeel Khan smash the England bowlers all over the park at Old Trafford in front of a packed stadium.

Then they throw it all away.

I feel like when a player gets banned his stocks shoot up through the roof and people remember his skills as waaay better than they actually were.

He was a bit of a hack tbh. Feet in cement and hit the ball hard types. Not really that much more special than an Awais Zia, Mukhtar Ahmed or Rafatullah. Think people need to ease off with romanticizing banned players.

Pretty much. They've been slightly better somehow but overall, the selection committee is still a very poor one that are unable to realize which players are fit for the format. Could probably just look at their stats and track record domestically to see where they have exceeded but that just makes too much sense.

Latif was a good option for shorter formats. There are not many batsmen in Pakistan who can hit the ball as hard as Latif and Sharjeel.

Have watched him bat. He is no talent. Sorry. Don't know why Pakistani fans would like to feel otherwise.

While he definitely wasn't the most talented batsman Pakistan has produced, Khalid is a very strong bottom hand player who was brutal with the cut shot. We need someone like this at the top..

Khalid Latif captained the Pakistan cricket team in the 2010 Asian Games. He stated that his goal was to help his team win the gold medal in the games. However, he had to settle for a bronze, after losing to Afghanistan in the semi finals 😂😂 Not able to cut a deal in China
