After seeing Sachin and Dhoni's bio movies, I wonder if any of Pakistani directors are up to preserve the memories of Wasim/Waqar/Shoaib/Inzi/Afridi or even Misbah by making movie over them? I am sure both Misbah and Afridi can have a very colorful movie. That would be the perfect way to let new generation know about our legends.

I rather see the story on Shoaib. There's bound to be more story/plot line which would make it interesting...Movies about Mishnah and Afridi would be very one dimensional...

Let's encourage another generation to become tullaybaaz by glorifying that fraud Afridi via a biopic.

His book was a disappointment and I guess the film will be similar as he will not reveal what actually happened in some of the major incidents he was involved in.

Few months ago in a discussion on Indian Site about the same topic... lots of guys were saying that movie about Mohammad Yousuf will be a hit if ever made... Dont know much abt him apart from the fact that he converted...

TBH The Champions Trophy campaign has all the traits for a successful sports story.

1) Underdog success (we were No. 8 and barely qualified)

2) Hammering in 1st match by tournament favorite (India being arch rivals adds to the spice).

3) Slow successes leading to momentum and redemption.

4) Ultimate redemption by beating same team who defeated you in the Final.

5) Colourful characters who audience can root behind (Fakhar, Sarfraz, Hassan etc).

Was wondering that. Would have preferred WC though.

MoYo was more of a personal milestoner. People may look at someone selfless like Misbah or even Sarfraz.

Too little success. Way too much drama. Ugly one.

should be about IMRAN KHAN.....

Too old, too one-dimensional.

Imran Khan now that I think of it would be perfect. Won a World Cup, how he met his wife , his entry into politics. Him making prime minister would be the icing on the cake and makIng that happen. It can only be played by Ranbir Kapoor and the older version should be played by Sanjay dutt since both of hem match Imran in looks and height...
