Any update on pitches changing for domestic cricket?

All I am hearing about is structures changing and how players are selected. I am delighted with this, but these changes will be useless if we get the same old rubbish pitches.

Is there any update on how pitches will play in the upcoming season? Or any steps Wasim Khan will make to change pitches?

Wasim Khan did mention that pitches will be made to bring more balance between bat and ball, so no more of those up and down pitches or extreme green tops.

The ground staff for all the domestic grounds also went through some training about a week or two ago.
