With Imran Khan as the PM and pushing the NayaPakistan era forward, he has requested foreigners to invest in Pakistan.

Properties seem to be one realistic investment - so curious to know if any PP'ers are looking to invest in Pakistan in coming years? If so where?

I am really interested in investing near RRR or near new Islamabad Airport - schemes like Blue City World Islamabad and Smart Capital Islamabad seem to be the schemes to keep an eye out. Cheap, brilliant installment plans and with development of RRR (approved few days ago, to be completed by 2019) prices will surely rise.

Please do share your thoughts and intention in investing.

Real Estate is always the no.1 choice of investment for people loaded with dosh :)))

I remember when Mush arrived, property market went bonkers, My dad bought a house in Lahore for 50 laks by 2004 it was worth 3 crores.

The new bubble seems like its going to be in Gwader, keep an eye out though in other cities, south punjab may see a massive property boom too.

I've in the last week been to see some potential investments but I want to invest in a property where I eventually one day I go live/stay while on holiday. I have some land investements but I would like to live in a more picturesque area of Islamabad.

Im not sure if you have been to Highland resort? I went there twice to check out the apartments and villas. The seceny is simply breathtaking and imo investing here is a good move because hopefully in the near future Pakistan will see more tourism and you will be able to rent out your property regualry when you are not there. I also believe the value will increase at a good rate in the coming years.

I was planning on staying in the Villa for a night but they were booked out and I am continuing my holiday elsewhere now . Someone will be staying and sending me a futher details soon.

Gwadar is bound to succeed one day since it’s a commercial area. Anything commercial, the prices will go up. Issue is, right now its very very early days. Only 2-3 trustworthy Housing societies, a lot of work to be done. Its something to keep an eye out for sure. Massive potential but a long way to go.

Yes bro - by chance I stumbled across this project few weeks ago. Unfortunately, according to their website... It seems like the only 1 bedroom apartments are available? The payment plan works out so nicely for us since we deal in ££s. It looks very promising.

Did you come across any other worthy projects that caught your eye?

I think heydays of Pakistani property investments are gone. You won't get double the price you paid for if the average person (by average I mean middle class doctor, engineer etc) living in Pak can only dream of buying property in their life time.
