Are Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings most likely to reach PSL final?

I think two of the teams in the title will reach the final - I would bank on Multan Sultans vs Peshawar Zalmi.

Lahore are done and dusted and need to regroup and re-haul their entire team for next season.

IU are decent but not good there yet whilst Karachi Kings are looking good but and should reach the playoffs but don't see them reaching the final.

Thoughts?

I think Zalmi will retain PSL 3, not matter which other team is in the final.

Islamabad, if they can sort out their bowling, is the best (powerful) batting team in my opinion. Sami may perform in first 9 of 10 games but he will bottle it under preassure. Shadab haven’t looked anything speciall the times I have watched him this season and Russel seems to have lost his pace. Fahim is miss or hit. Why are they not playing Samuel Badree? Is he injured?

Yeah Zalmi vs Sultans in final for me with Zalmi retaining their title.

The losing semi finalists will be Quetta and Karachi kings.

The best part is all these three teams have all overseas players willing to tour Pakistan so seeing any 2 would actually be a big bonus for the league

Having said that can never rule out Quetta making a comeback.

No way is Zalmi reaching the finals with only 3 miss or hit batsmen. My best bet would be MS vs IU or maybe KK.

The injury does hurt them but with JP and Ronchi finding some form, their top order looks really good. Rumman's injury isn't too serious either so he should be back soon.


A lot will depend on who they bring in to replace Russell.

But I want IU to advance to later stages so we can get see more of Talat (show some early promise), Faheem & Sahibzada (read a lot about him on this forum but two innings have been very orginary).

What's good about the Zalmi that people are harping them up to not just reach the final but win it again. To me, they probably won't even make it to the next round forget play the finals.
