Every cricket fan knows the thrill of seeing their biggest rival stumble—especially when it happens in dramatic fashion!

For Pakistan fans, certain Indian losses might have brought a sense of excitement or satisfaction.

Was it a historic win, a nail-biting finish, or a dominating performance by Pakistan that you enjoyed the most?

The question was not asked to you.

I'm asking you to do the same. You are not a Pakistani fan irrespective of how big of a fan you are of Pakistani cricket. The thread specifically asks Pakistani fnas.

I am actually minding my own business. You are not.
Can you stop derailing the thread?

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: A Bangladeshi posting his opinion on a thread that asks the opinion of Pakistani fans, and that is akin to the Bangladeshi minding his own business.

For me personally 2023 wc.
What was there for Pakistan? As a Pakistani fan, I would not celebrate the defeat of a team against a third team especially if that team have beaten us black and blue in the same tournament. Think you are speaking wearing your Aussie fan hat and if that is the case its fine. However, 2023 defeat against Australia in the finals has nothing in it for Pak fans.

It saved them from brutal trolling by Indians here on PP as can be seen after the CT25 and T20 WC win last year ....

For Pakistanis, please give us your best (worst) shot :).

I would suggest the Miandad six at Sharjah, since it has lived rent free in my head since I saw it on live TV

As an aside, great reciprocal thread which keeps the banter going. But people commenting here from a particular nation who are not Pakistanis - Lions are not interested in the opinion of sheep, especially sheep who aren’t much kop at the cricket.

Trolling? It was merely giving it back in spades....

You don't realize the Pakistani mentality .... all violations are legit if-and-only-if they are initiated by Pakistani's. Anything that is in response to that is considered shots fired unilaterally by the "Dushman team" fans. This applies to real world geo-politics too.

Welcome to the madness !!

Don’t give a damn about champions trophy until Pakistan made it a big deal.

Just wanted to win that. And also to make sweepshot happy

Kanpur 2005,
Karachi Test 2006,
CT17 final
That is a good collection, especially the Karachi Test. that was a significant recovery from an opening over hattrick.

Personally, i am surprised that you rate the Kanpur 2005 ODI victory in a dead rubber (Pakistan had already won the series i believe) so high. It was a very chance innings by Afridi, and incidentally his last innings ever of any substance against India, if not that of his career. He would manage two more centuries in the next 9 years, one against a listless Sri Lanka and another against an insipid Bangladesh. But the Kanpur innings, he scored that against Balaji, Nehra and the lot. I saw the entire game, it was very high and miss, and lucky for him, none of the misses were off deliveries directed at the stumps.

As an alternative, i posit you the Bangalore Test from that same series. A first innings massive partnership of the best middle order of that time: Younis, Yousuf and Inzamam, with very little on either side... followed by a Sehwag blitzkrieg supported in parts by Sachin who was very much still in good nick, a Laxman who was motoring along, interrupted only by a Sami and Kaneria special. If i recall correctly, Sami bowled a herculean 17 over spell in that game! That is something most spinners cant manage. Then out came Pakistan, all guns blazing, and setup a total that India would have fancied, and going into Day 5, thought could very well manage.

Then after nearly a century stand and more than a quarter of the way to the win, against all good reason, Sehwag, whom Pakistan had struggled to dismiss the entire three test series, sets off for a quick single, only to be sent back but then instead of racing back, he chances his fate against the aim of abdul razzaq. Razzaq took him time, aimed, and knocked down the stumps... he could not have seen more than one stump from his fielding position on cover... and suddenly Pakistan run through India on a fast deteriorating pitch. The last test match between the two countries on Indian soil (check me on this), and a memorable victory for Pakistan.

Pak went to India for a 3 test series in 2007 as well. apart from the first test, the other two were on flat roads.
Yes i remember that test. Pak hadn't won the series before Kanpur. I think we drew in that match. There was still a match or two left.

Pak was lucky to escape in last test match at bng .it was a replica of karachi 2006 or kolkata 1999 in india favour. Pak were 7 down in second inngs facing a huge loss . light failure saved them along with kumble ultra safe tactics

Afridi 2 sixes in Asia cup
Karachi test - to be 0/3 and still come back to win the test match is an amazing feat
CT Final

Those are my favourite 3.

We hadn't won any series by Kanpur ODI at all. The series was a 6 game series, tied at 2-2. Kanpur took us to 3-2 and then Delhi to 4-2.

Afridi was absolutely superb during that ODI series, gave us many great starts. He was also great during the Test seties as well. Infact the only series he was ever good in.

Nah. It was the first test India could not close the door on Pakistan. We let razzaq, and even Rana naveed hang around way too long. We should have wrapped that game up by day 4.

The third test Pakistan won every session except day three session 1 when sehwag was in mercurial form and scored yet another double century. For comparison, younis had scored a double just one day earlier but sehwag eclipsed his exploits by a country mile. Apart from that, Pakistan had India on the ropes in every session.

Honestly it was the last time ever that I recall when I felt Pakistan was a worthy opponent. Yes they won a throw away odi series against us in 2012 I think, but they never seemed competitive when they played us after that series.

From Pakistani fan point of view, it wasn't a good viewing altogether. :P
Wasn't Dravid the captain?

2017 final tops it.

People dont understand the impact that 2017 fluke win had, and for that Sarfraz Ahmad deserves every praise.

When we lost that group stage game, Indians were barking the usual garbage that why is Pakistan is bad this and that. And than in the final, the fans in blue were running out of the stadium.

That win had the biggest impact on our cricket, as it bought the return of cricket back to Pakistan and also helped Paksitan get an ICC tournament hosting rights.

Ruined it when you said fluke win.

A team being stronger on paper doesn't mean that it was a fluke win.

A fluke win would entail that the other side lost it. A 180 run drubbing isn't a fluke win.

Pakistan only fluked a win over Sri Lanka and maybe SA via rain.

England and India were solid drubbings simply because Pakistan were peak confident and that peak confidence made up all the difference. They were determined to win, end of story

I enjoyed BGT as well. It was a classic case of ego's.

Australia curated a flat track in the first test to nullify bumrah but that backfired.

Then India got overconfident and got utterly thrashed. It was such an epic bullying that Indians were celebrating a washed out test game that they had certainly lost as if they won a world cup.

To top it off, leave to India to revive Steve Smith's career, even Pakistan couldn't do itm

2014 asia cup thrashing from Afridi in the end.. It was a thriller actually.

India missed key bowlers and had a handicap of Virat and Rohit. Where better players were in reserve.

They never beat them at full strength

Jurel, shami missing, rana dint play all games and was unfairly dropped for some reason.

Thakur the Aus killer would have deflated Starcs ego

This is india's starting team and the one they trust the most.

It's not my fault that bcci thinks this way. I could easily say the same for pakistan for example why isn't mubasir Khan playing and why is shadab or Niazi playing instead?

Or why isn't azan awais in our test team but hurraira or imam is.

Kohli and rohit aren't going anywhere, Deal with it

But those guys are trash

We have real serious talents in reserve

Old farts are just occupying the sports
