Pakistan 20 run short in this pitch . Still decent Total considering they have 3 front line spinners and Shaheen .

It's the pitch. Dubai first innings pitch can often be tough to negotiate.
 
Oman batsman need to survive Shaheen first spell and play smartly against spinners they might throw a surprise.. pakistan can get under pressure is they don't get wickets upfront. Hopefully we will see a good chase by Omani players. Play cautiously against Nawaz . Others will provide loose balls in between
 
Pakistan would be happy. As always, they were pretty poor with the bat, but managed to score 160 which should result in a comfortable victory against a minnow
 
Terrible day for Farhan, Fakhar, Agha and Hasan.

The ball Ayub got out to would’ve probably bounced twice before hitting the stumps had it not hit his leg.

Babar and Rizwan batted really slowly today due to which we could only score 160 vs Oman.

Need to replace these outdated players with modern T20 players like Saim and Farhan.
 
Their is a world of difference in having the strength to hit sixes and then being able to execute that ability.

Babar and Rizwan had no ability.

These players have ability but no execution.

Mike Hesson barely knows his own players.
He thinks Saim is an all-rounder, Nawaz is the best bowler in the world and keeps shuffling the batting order. Captain Fantastic is also no-show today with a first ball duck. He’s not gonna bowl either. Agha-Hesson proved nothing yet.

I am in the stadium here, the lack of strength was visible.

Farhan and Fakhar specially looked like they had no timing whatsoever and no strength to hit their strokes.

All in all a horrific batting performance besides Haris.

Yes. It is a huge ground. Not easy to hit many sixes here.

M Nawaz and H Nawaz got out near the boundaries. Those would've been sixes in Sharjah probably. Sharjah is a smaller ground.

I expect Oman to be bundled out for 110-120. Can't see them go past 150.

Oman's weakest link is their batting.

If Haris had failed.and gotten out early, the rest of the batsmen would have had longer to bat and would have batted accordingly. Can't really say what would've happened.
 
Do they even need to do the toss on sunday? Its clear Pak wants to bat first and India wants to chase. So toss will be just a formality.

No, if Pak win the toss, we will definitely bowl first, this was just batting practice for in case we lost the toss.
 
Crap bowling by Shaheen

If he isn’t interested at keeping to his basics, he should ask the management to sit him out against these minnows
 
Look at the ease they are playing against Shaheen Afridi..not a good sign for Pakistan against matches to come. Its hard for them to face spinners .
 
Oman definitely have more balls than Afghanistan top order batters that’s for sure
 
Oman 2 down still the spin trio have not bowled a single ball. Oman need to take it easy and try to score 120-130 and get some confidence to face other associate nation . Pitch is slow add more 20 runs to the total. It's an uphill task for them
 
Pakistan should already be embarrassed about their batting performance but they should be ashamed if they let this Part time cricketers to score 100 here . Had to bowl spin from either end as Shaheen is useless

I know this Pakistan team have a new philosophy within the batting ranks but MY GOD, the inconsistency with the batting is infuriating.

Their good players but they can’t find form or consistency.
 
We should not play another pacer unless we have wasim akram in squad, pacers wil l get tonked like shaheen even against associate teams, we do not have quality pacers. Usa match is example.

@RidiculousMan hope you have changed your view of playing three seamers
