Assassin's Creed Origins

Anyone play AC Origins? What are your thoughts on it?

Having played all the ACs, I think ACO is up there in my Top 3.

Love the Egyptian setting, the 4K HDR support looks amazing. Though the HUD is weak, and the story was probably more. Bayek just comes into the picture with his skillz, and Senu is his best buddy from the get go.

Looking forward to the DLC no doubt!

No way. Same generic open world crap. After the first 3 assassins creed games (and even then brotherhood got boring) the rest have just been trademark Ubisoft climb towers, reveal map, boring missions, lacklustre story, map littered with side missions you don't care about. To each their own but for meAC3 was one of the most disappointing games ever because I was so hyped for it. After that I just didn't have any faith in the series so was never disappointed. And this is coming from a guy who thinks AC2 is one of the best games ever and was a huge fan of the series.

If you wanna play a recent open world game done right then check out Horizon Zero Dawn.

Horizon Dawn was epic, completed it, 100% and have the Platinum.

You are right about the same formula in climb towers, reveal map etc, but being AC's first attempt at RPG-esqe game, I think it is up there.
