This will be the opportunity of a lifetime for Shame Twatson, Brad Haddin and Cam "I can't spin the ball to save my life" White. If ever there was a moment to step up for your country this is it. 4/364, OZ trying to avoid the follow on. Twatson 19, Pup 30, Zaheer "I can take 20 wickets by myself" Khan bowling.

Twatson starting to flog the ball around, I hope he doesn't get a case of white line fever and get himself out. We need him there for at least the morning session.

Is Sharma trying to look like Steven Tyler from Aerosmith? His hair looks much more manicured than it did in Australia earlier this year. Before, it was just disheveled, now it looks...fashionably disheveled.

Where is everyone? I'm planning to go to bed soon (not by choice, I'm exhausted). Someone needs to drive this wagon.

mishra bowling too many short balls. MAybe dhoni should try sehwag now.
Exactly what I feel. Spinner will be the key in my opinion. Sehwag did a terrific job yesterday. he needs to be introduced into the attack soon.

Where's Kumble? We need him to be back if we are to be a chance.

More like Harbi. Aussies were licking their licks at the prospect of India being weakened by Kumble again. He's a liability - poor captain, overrated bowler.

This match is headed for a DRAW. :110:

A draw is what India wanted. The rest of the series will be all about batsmen's averages, as this test has been. India's attack is weak and Australia's is on the decline.

Dropped catch Sharma,, sooo closeeee Oz should have been atleast 6 down by now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is the commentary any different on FOX sports/channel 9 for the Aussies
or is it same for both countries?

Can anyone please enlighten me?

I was so pissed for that catch being dropped. But then again it's Ishant, and he have given us quite some good instances to cheer about in the recent past. Therefore no hard feelings for him :D

The problem is Indian pitches, the curators make them too flat and they flatter the batsmen. Batting should be a challenge but too often the bowlers are offered too much assistance. If the BCCI didn't control world cricket, you could threaten to take India away as a venue until they made their pitches more challenging for both disciplines. India is a dull place to watch cricket.

This pitch ain't exactly what you call a batting paradise. The pitch does have some grass in it. The ball is turning a great deal. By no means this pitch is meant for batsman alone.

The injured Kumble is ON! Why bother!!!

That drop catch by the wiry fellow was a HUGE miss..

Now lets hope he can get him out with a FAST yorker.

It's only slowish turn with the occasional brute.

Ha haa...it was the most brilliant turn by Viru which bamboozled Watson :)))

Yeah thats what I was thinking as well, kid has been nothing short of brilliant so far, lets give him a break...Meantime all over for India now that Kumble is back, congrats on the draw or a possible upset win to OZ....

If only Ishant held that chance of Clarke, ARHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it just wont stop irking meeeeeee......

I fear Kumble, being the determined guy that he is, would play for another year to get his next wicket.

Don't worry. This Aussie team can't win even if VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid were India's premier bowlers.

Cricinfo heading 'Sehwag fills Kumble gap' is very unfair on Sehwag. Sehwag has bowled more good deliveries in this innings alone than Kumble has in 2008.

Took kumble ONLY 73 overs to get his first wicket in the series....an impressive average of 231 :p

Like bublu pointed out, he is one DETERMINED fella.

436-6 LUNCH

AUS trail by 177 runs with 4 wickets remaining

Hmm, they still can save this match if they can handle the spinners well. Seriously, Bhajji would have gone rampage on this pitch, nowai AUS would even get close to 450 here with him bowling

Hahahahaha. Seriously, the reason Kumble isn't getting many genuine wickets at all is because he has completely lost the ability to turn the ball. He relies too much on the pitch. Like a slow right arm seamer he is.

Most high scoring draws are boring, but this one wasnt.

It had two double 100's, and there was always a chance that AUS might have collapsed. In the end, both get scores around ~600 with the difference being that all AUS batsmen contributed evenly, while in India's case it was Laxman & Ghambir

AUS get past 500 with a magnificent 6 from White :)

505-6, only trailing by 108 runs now

Extra's conceded by AUS: 22 (b 6, lb 8, w 2, nb 6)

Extra's conceded by IND: 50 (b 24, lb 16, w 2, nb 8)

LAXMAN HAS DROPPED A SITTER!!! :)))

Damn, how many lives does Clarke has :))

Nice drop :p Sehwag just missed a 5-wkt haul because of him

CLARKE DROPPED AGAIN :)) :)))

By mishra

Damn, this is funny :))

PATHETIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like smashing up my computer screen. Bloody nonsense !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can say that Clark have lost his concentration. I predict he'll soon be at the pavilion.

Sehwag needs to pick up Tendulkar's heavy bat and swing it wildly across Laxman and Mishra's heads :12:

If he reaches a ton it will surely be the most undeserved in history.

And Sehwag bowls White and gets his first 5-wkt haul!

So does this mean india can play three seamer and a spinner now?
sehwag can be the second spinner when needed...

LOl, the game is over blu, no need to get angry. :D
If you guys had Harbhajan though, he would have wreaked havoc on this pitch.

If only Sharma held onto that catch early morning we probably would have won this game...

And Clarke gets his 100!

Made possible by: Sharma, Laxman & Mishra :D

Clarke really hold the innings together, i wonder if India would have won if Sharma didnt drop him. They might have i think...

Wrong!!!!! India unheld Clarke's innings together :D... It does make the test really interesting now, Oz can still win this one as everyone knows of India's last innings South Africa type mentality of chocking although not quite as bad :)) .... So much for me hoping for innings defeattttt,, ARGGGGGG that dropped catch by Sharma hurts the most as it was early in the day, the other drops seems more humerous if anything...
