Hope Aleem Dar is a lot less lenient with the harassing that Warne tries to inflict than Asad Rauf, and if Warne continues the way he has, I hope Aleem can at least get him a fine!

dont call umpires Cheat .. what reason does Dar have to cheat ? And especially why would he care since its AU vs SA

Here is the CricInfo line about that delivery:

Ever since Pakistan whinged about the umpiring in Australia Dar and Rauf have deliberately robbed the Australian bowlers, it was particularly evident in the last test when Rauf gave Hodge and Jaques out to decisions that were balatent cheating. Australia should ask the ICC to not have these biased cheats umpiring in australia.

how about when Rauf gave Prince out to Warne ? Was Rauf REVERSE CHEATING as Botha would say ?

you are ridiculous with your cheating accusations. Only players cheat .. Umpires get paid for their job, whether they make a mistake or not .. so if they do make a mistake, its not cheating, its LIFE...

Have you umpired in front of 20000 fans.. in a loud stadium ? I have umpired over 30 matches (40 overs), hold a certificate from Umpire Mohammed Baksh of the WICB, and have trouble hearing SNICKS on a ground full of WIND ..

ITS CALLED LIFE, REALITY .. Mistakes happen .. dont call Umpires Cheats b/c they didnt make a decision in YOUR favor ..
 
Bowden just turned down a LBW appeal .. he must be related to that **** cheat according to FISH ...

It tells me he is not consistent, not a good umpire .. but it doesnt make him a cheat ..

how about Daryl Hair warning Kaneria everytime he bowls .. in WI, and in PK .. all the tests before that, he was never warned ..

how about Hair watching Salman butt run across the middle .. and taking away a run of his .. but every other batsmen did it, and HAir wasnt even looking ..

Does that make Hair a CHEAT ? or just a bad umpire .. there is a big difference ..

Criticize the Man, dont insult his Integrity ..
 
Dotcom as you seemed to have picked up I'm an Aussie and have read what most posters here have said about the aussie umpires and just repeated them about the Pakistan umpires. I actually think Dar and Rauf are reasonably umpires just like the Aussie ones and all the others.

I didnt call any umpire a Cheat .. But I do say there are some that are not upto the PAR of ICC umpires ..

Rauf is new .. but doesnt seem to be ..
Dar is gaining experience and integrity
Taufel is excellent ..
Hair .. makes mistakes like most

just a few .. but in the prior posts you stated the word CHEAT .. which is a direct insult .. I agree with the fact that many are not upto par .. but they are not cheats .. not even Hair ..

now .. there were some Indian and West Indian umpires that I dont want to say too much about ... :13:

There is a difference between Hair and Dar. Dar's mistakes are honest mistakes which could go either way, Hair's are just pure stupidity.

Yes I believe Hair is dishonest. I think your other umpires do a good job like PArker, Taufel and what not. Just Hair is a complete idiot. I have watched alot of games with his umpiring and he seems very impartial against PAkistan.

That is my honest opinion and what I truly believe. YOu are calling Dar and Rauf cheats out of spite to get back at us fans who think Hair is a cheat.
 
I wished Hair had warned Inzamam for running on the pitch at Faisalabad. Inzamam would have busted his fat A** in return. He is a consummate ****.

Err it wasnt my opinion hawkeye showed the ball hitting leg stump, are you watching the game.

Because so many people here allways go on about Australia getting all the 50/50 decisions but never aknowledge when a decision goes against Australia. Like the Prince decision it was bought up here ad-nausum but never a mention of the decisions that went against Australia.

It was a big issue when Australia got some decisions their way but people here refuse to accept the same amount go against them.

Here is the deal, just like Indians complain about Bucknor(Oh you know you do) we complain about Hair. Both are very bad umpires when it comes to our games.

There is a problem with SA that they cant score fast in test matches. All of them have there SR in 40s to 50s.
I guess everyone know why kallis SR is 42 cause he goes for his average.
 
kallis is on 37 Aus should get him out. I hate him he is the most boring batsman in any form of cricket.

i'm really suprised Kallis got runs. He usually struggles against good teams and bashes the minnows. Good to see Ashwell getting runs too. He is a good young player who the Proteas should stick with.

it was only 74 overs in the day, there was a rain delay in the morning

230/74 = 3.11 runs per over.

One person whose not fired this series with ball is glenn mcgrath. Hes got just 6 wickets @ almost 40 apiece. Id be shocked if he doesnt put in a match changing spell in either this inns or the 2nd inns.

I am neither Pakistani nor Aussie and i have to say that Hair is a very bad umpire. Or at least he had a terrible series Pakistan v England.

It was close. But it was straightening down the line, off the seam and would have hit leg and middle.. Mark Taylor said 19 times out of 20 it would have have been givin.

the problem was the ball pitched fairly close to the batsman, so the umpire couldnt really tell the extent of the straightening

i admit it looked close but was by no means plumb

Not that I place much faith in hawkeye...but when Grieg says 'thats plumb-it's hitting middle or middle and leg'...even after Hawkeye shows its clipping 'leg'...you know that Grieg has lost it.

He must have asked for 7-8 replays!

Must say-have really enjoyed Brett Lee's spell esp at Kallis. Some beauties!
 
Aussies been shafted by umpires in this match, as comms are Aussies they are naturally unhappy bout it.
