Macca just lost his wicket to Brett Lee. Hobbits 1/2 after 1 over.

The CricInfo commentary is hopeless. They have Horroritz as the active bowler but they're saying that MJ is actually bowling. :))

okay... wat a scoreline... 8 for 3 after 5

NZ 5/41 Horroritz gave away 10 runs!! :po:

Now Siddle getting some tap. Hobbits 5/51. They better not get 150 after the start we made!

5/92 after 12.3 overs the Hobbits trying to get to 150

Hobbits finish on 147 bowled out, OZ 0/22 after 3.5

Clarke 46* symonds 4*

135/3 off 17.4 overs...

Aussies won by 7 wkts!

The kiwis top order has been woeful in both warm up games so far!

Pretty cruisy victory even though they left it to the last over. Good knocks from Dubya (56) and Pup (49*).

impressed by australia..

but even more impressed, ironically, by new zealand.

they went from 21/5 after 5 overs to 147. just goes to show how deep their batting is and what they are capable of if they get off to a good start..

Just noticed that we have a pretty tidy new ball attack now.

Brett Lee 3.5 - 9 - 1
Mitchell Johnson 4 - 20 - 4

Now if we can only get Siddle to get a bit more control or get the Hilf in we'll be in good shape.

Pretty decent effort. I would get rid of Warner ASAP though. He's a cowlasher!

whats with calling the NZ players hobbits, thats not nice is it btw if your meaning they are short then you seriously have eye problems have you seen the size of Jacob Oram

I'm sure they would rather be called Hobbits than Orcs...though having seen some of the inhabitants of NZ's South Island I sometimes have trouble telling the difference...
