My first time making this thread!!!

I am excited, nervous, happy and God knows how many other emotions are running through me.

Its the final day and I am hoping for a Pakistan victory.

COME ON PAKISTAN!!!!

I cant wait I really hope that MOYO and Umar See us through to almost the end. A MOYO Double and a Umar 100.. Insha'allah. :)
 
The key for our chances are for Yousuf and Akmal to be there at lunch. If we havent lost any wickets by Lunch then our chances of winning this would be more probable. If these two can also see the new ball through then that would be an extra plus.
If we are to win one of these two HAS to score a century and we need some good contributions from all the rest coming in.
Its going to be a tough ask but Inshallah we can fight hard out there and come out with a victory.
Come on Lads. Lets do this!

but with pakistan those odds can turn quickly.

We're 1 really good session away from victory I feel.

30 overs, 100 for no loss before lunch and the games ours to lose from there
 
wudnt it be soo awesome if we cud watch the game online and hear what other people have to say on this forum that would be class hearing others points of views buh neva mynd ill pop upstairs in between sessions :D

I think the collapse will come, if it does, when the Aussies take the new ball. 5 overs after Lunch. If Yousuf isn't at the wicket at that time I hate to say it but you can bet on a certain collapse.

for folks here in US we can setup a free conference call through a number, else i am sure can figure out some thing on google or skype as a free web conf. call for all to join, it will be interesting if we can keep some order which is highly unlikely considering our Pakistani nature :)

Can not understand any optimism, Pakistan have done all they could be expected to by getting the match to the Fifth day.

But Umar Akmal and Mohammed Aamer can not carry the rest of the team all the way.

Expect the seniors who are past it to fail and collapse in their typical spineless fashion and condemn us to the shame of a pre-lunch end to the match.

he is from my city muzzafargarh ( multan ) recently shifted to lahore :D

Ok I thought about it. I was trying to be impartial :p...I don't want Aus to win but it's nothing got to do with rankings. It's about the happiness & satisfaction of beating them in their own backyard. Take the attack to them.... :akhtar

I always thought the play on day five started half an hour earlier than it did on the previous days. Im sure thats how it works in England at least.

Never seen that happen. It always starts on the same time unless it rained and thus they start 30 minutes earlier to make up time.

Luckily, the weather in Melbourne has been stunning and thus that is taken out of the equation.

Thats because it usually rains everyday in England forcing the early start

Now that I think of it, ECB did tinker around with some of the timings - having the start on different times, so you are correct to a degree.
 
About 50 minutes to go. I don't think I have ever waited so anxiously for the start of day's play before.

Salam to all the ppers. This is my first post, i cant believe that i have finally been allowed to become a member of this forum for some odd reason the mods kept saying that you didnt meet the membership requirements. However i would like to thank their generousity for taking me onboard.
 
This is it, the first session will probably indiacate who is going to win this test, Draw is not on the cards!
 
This is a Test For Moyo to win for us, he can do it!
 
we need 70 runs each from the remaining 4 batsmen, if 2 hit hundreds, that will be amazing!
