I live in Karachi. Don't know about rest. In Pakistan I guess it's 3:45 AM when match startsSohaib-789 said:So i take it you guyz are from the uk?
i usually watch the 1st 45 mins maximum then record the rest of the days play and watch it in my free time after college.![]()
I am really hopeful that Sarfraz will do very well and show Akmal how to wicket keep. Having said that I am seeing lots of politics in akmal's teammates who are going to have a new "Sautan".JeeraBlade said:If Sarfraz can cement his place in the team during this test so that Kamran is permanently kicked out of the team, I would say --- Australian tour was a huge success for us --- because this means we have gotten rid of the enemy within who caused numerous test, ODI and T20 losses due to his butter fingers --- or is it no fingers?

Pakistan 1 Imran Farhat, 2 Salman Butt, 3 Khurram Manzoor, 4 Mohammad Yousuf (capt), 5 Umar Akmal, 6 Shoaib Malik, 7 Sarfraz Ahmed (wk), 8 Mohammad Aamer, 9 Umar Gul, 10 Danish Kaneria, 11 Mohammad Asif
Akmal is beyond learning at this point. I hope he does not learn and stay out of the team.its.raja said:I am really hopeful that Sarfraz will do very well and show Akmal how to wicket keep.

jusarrived said:I expect a very easy win for Aus here , really cant see pak team mentally up to the challenge after being 2-0 down here ...I hope am proved wrong here , as i would love to see pak pull one back ..but it looks unlikely !
jusarrived said:if it was an indian team playing , may be i wudnt say this ..but a 3-0 loss might do good for pak , if it leads to dropping for some senior players .
when was that?JeeraBlade said:Won't happen. How many seniors were dropped after last three 3-0 drubbings?

Who did we get rid of BECAUSE of 0-3 loss?iafzal said:If 2003 then we did get rid of many seniors
jusarrived said:I know its a big 'IF' & as fans its impossible to hope for your teams loss , but i cant see how Pak can retain the same bunch after losing 3-0 !

This is what I'm interested to see. I wonder if he will change his natural game knowing his big brother isn't there. Also, I'll observe how he deals with life in the field on his own. Obviously, its his batting which I'm more interested in; I don't think he's played any match for Pak without :akmalNazir_ Rules said:I wonder how Umar will be feeling like?

Lightning said:Didn't want to play? I'm sure if the management took the time, he would have agreed. Team comes first. He's as good a batsman as bad he is a keeper.
The series was still alive then duhcricketpassion said:OMG only 60 posts so far , last week pages were filled before match started.
Good point.Sledger said:His words, not mine.
He's an ok batsmen, but his away average has always been poor - under 30. Its a difficult scenario because on one hand you have Shoaib 9 lives Malik returning but if you retain Akmal then he can think of himself as an immovable object in the team. The right decision was made not to play him but a fresh batsman should have come instead of Malik.
