The rain can work in two ways. It will help Lanka's pacers early on as the ball will swing and nip around. They need to take wickets then because I am ugesing the ball will be difficult to grip for the spinners with the wetness and therefore I believe they will play more a containing role than wicket taking one.

But like i always say, "Thebest way to keep the runs down is get wickets"

rather strange you say lack of hype. Lots of call in cricket programmes here about analysis, favorite team to win etc. May be in your area as pak were out of it folks were not too keen.However I assure you there are lots of excitement about the world cup finals here. Most west indians are supporting srilanka . In fact only australians and a few others are supporting the aussis. Just heard from some english and indian fans that they were supporting srilanka.
