Clarke and Haddin opening for Aus, Warner out for Ponting.

Australia 107/0 (19.6 ov), RR 5.35. They should take the powerplay at this point to take good advantage of it.

Great work by Haddin. Actually IMO these two can prove to be a very handy opening combination (Haddin and Clarke), Australia can then afford two more batsmen/bowlers in the middle order.

Once Marsh is back, clarke will go down.

Didn't Oz take the powerplay? I mean did they take 3rd powerplay yet or not?

Australia makes 301-9, if opener fires for New Zealand then a whitewash

I saw McCullum had his shoulder injured, but is he gonna bat at all?

A reverse shot off the back of the bat by one of the batsmen. RRR up to 8.26

Oh wait on, celebrated too early RA ;) McCullum and Elliot are running the show now.

Bloody Hobbits :pissed:

Always they do this against us. If only they played against everyone else like they play us in ODI cricket.

77 off 60 balls with 3 wickets in hand

Take one wicket and the game is over. McCullum is unbelievable, though I dont think his shoulder injury is limiting him as much as Healy and co. are orgasming over.

43.6 Hilfenhaus to McCullum, FOUR, shot! Banged in short on leg stump, MCCullum pulls it away well wide of fine leg for a crucial boundary

What's wrong ... the runs have suddenly stopped flowing.

end of 3rd powerplay. But the run rate req isn't very high they just need to stick around

46.2 Hilfenhaus to McCullum, OUT
BB McCullum c Ponting b Hilfenhaus 36 (27b 3x4 1x6) SR: 133.33

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Suprise suprise no comment to the press today from Vettori about the only wicket he took.

His LBW was incorrect as the ball came from a inside edge and Vettori saw it clear as day on the big screen but he didnt say a word to the umpire. Is that because there is two Vettori's one that complains when it goes against his team and one that shuts up when it goes his way.

Sorry Dan but you question other players but your own behavoir dosent stand up to your own lofty standards.
