He's a genuine person, that's why people like him. You can tell that he is happy for Federer. This attitude is what I love about Nadal. He is never bitter about losing.

Rafa's legs are gone man...Rafa did not say the usual "I look forward to returning here". Federer too just urged Rafa to keep playing. Could this be a hint that Rafa will retire this year?![]()

There's no Nadal or Federer standing in his way now.Novak isn't getting 50% of his slam total considering he's 30 in a few months.
2007 and 2008 Wimbledon finals were better than the 2012 AO final.
I guess it's a case of different styles.
Federer vs Nadal was always style vs athleticism to me. Whereas Djokovic vs Nadal showed me the highest level a human can achieve physically.

He is certainly the best ever till date.
But I think Djokovic might challenge him. Nadal's body is too fragile to last till 35.
He need to win 6 slam from here to match fed and thats from reality considering he is in his 30
Not everyone can't play like federer when once get past 30's also there are many young talented players knocking the door and some quality one's are still here in the likes of murray and wawrika moreover fed/nadal are not done yet
Also once he get past(which is now) his prime am not seeing a overpowering baseliner like djoko surviving too long
I'm literally in tears. This means so much to me. The best sporting moment ever. Even better than Pakistan winning T20 WC. Let's be honest. Tennis is a way better sport than boring cricket.
For many people, it always feels better to see the Aesthetically pleasing guy being on top.. How would we feel if Cook overtook Sachin in tests .. ?
At his prime, I feel he was the greatest player ever but overall Federer is the GOAT.
This is honestly the greatest sporting achievement of all time. I'm still crying.
I didn't see the last set, but Fed took a time out? I hope Federer fans never ever speak of someone else's MTO again. If anyone else had done the same, can you imagine the noise people would have made. As it's Fed there will be no talk of it in the press.
I don't mind Roger winning, I rather he has the record than Novak.
What's wrong with Novak? He is also a nice guy (I am pro Federer by the way)
Federer took a MTO indeed but he took it in between the sets. There is nothing wrong with that. Djokovic does it during the sets and before his opponent is about to serve. Big difference.

Wawrinka - Djokovic AO matches are full of exciting winners and tantalising stroke play for instance.
Out of all the big 3 rivalries, I'd say the Federer-Djokovic FO 2011 SF is the most high quality match personally - worth watching the highlights.
Highest level of tennis ?
I disagree, that particular final was majority rallies which were about either player making a mistake, that sort of tennis is defensive and quite mundane despite the ever shifting momentum flows and the subsequent emotional ebbs and lows emanating from it.

Get a grip. Firstly it's sport and anyone shedding tears over sport needs to understand is important in life. You've been typing the same kind of rubbish that Indian cricket fans did about Tendulkar.
Greatest sporting achievement? It's not even close mate, not even close. Might be one of the greatest this decade but with what Bolt has done I think that it's up for debate.
So I think what you are meaning to say is that Federer didn't break any rules when he took the MTO. Fair enough can't argue against that. But Djokovic taking his MTOs at the start, middle or end of sets is also not breaking any rules. So technically there's nothing wrong with that either.
The double standards are a joke really. How can you sit there and type what you do and actually believe it to be true?
