I havent seen anybody comparing him with Kohli, few posts have mentioned he has played a better knock than Kohli in this WC. This doesnt make Babar better than Kohli neither undermines Kohli’s achievements. So no point in getting defensive or touchy about it.

Kohli is the legend of the game and nobody can deny that.

You obviously have not read like I have extensively about this boys work ethic and hunger.
And you should be improving in your early time in the game, which I have seen with this boy. Obviously he has to keep up the hard work

Also took like 10 or so less innings than Kohli to reach 1k, 2k and 3k milestones of runs each.

Had also hit Santner twice for four in the same over who was having godly turn yesterday.

Babar Azam is a very player and has pretty good technique and will break many records in ODIs in future. He seems to be a very sensible guy who is not a loud mouth but a humble player.

The things he needs to improve whatever little I have seen of him are, his footwork against spinners, he seems reluctant to use his feet against spinners and the other thing is to up his tempo when he is set. Also, his placement needs improvement as well, the other day against NZ, he scored at least three well played pulls straight to the fielders, those were boundary balls, he cannot afford to miss those when chasing huge scores.

All in all, will become a truly great player for Pakistan in the coming years. His batting is good on eye too, with solid technique and has time to play against fast bowlers.

He needs to learn sweep shot against spinners if he want to survive in asia specially in tests.

It was 240 on a difficult pitch in a virtual knockout match he scored 100. Hafeez got out when we were on 100, babar and haris stabilised it.

Talk about undermining someone's performance...

Bhai tumhre saare matches hi knock out ho jate hi last tk aate... It's not kohli's fault
. Why didn't he win you matches earlier and not making u reach this position of every match basically knock out.

Kohli is better...and has got better with age...this is no disrespect to Babar...they are at different stages of their careers...

Babar has certainly had a better start to his career...the hope now is he will go on and continue improving...

For all the complaints about his SR...Babar has upped his SR by 10 over the last couple years...and he's becoming a matchwinner for us...

Kohli the last 4 years has been a different beast to everyone...
