The Official PP Landmark Thread

Congratulations . Soon you will join the exclusive 100 000 club.

Let's see.

I average around 5000 posts yearly. So, 100K would probably take me another 10 years. :inti

I would be happy to surpass legendary Oxy (he has around 67K posts).

I do not think so . You are going at a good pace . India England series has 3 more tests , there you can post well.

🏏 Bhaijaan Contemplates Retirement at 69,000 Posts. Says "The Last Time Is Now."

In what can only be described as the approaching end of a golden chapter in the history of PakPassion.net, the legendary user Bhaijaan is reportedly contemplating retirement — just shy of reaching the milestone of 69,000 posts.

The Player of the Tournament of the inaugural edition of PPCL, Currently standing at 67,900 posts, Bhaijaan is not just a prolific poster, but a pillar of the community, known for his wit, passion, deep cricketing insights, and firm (yet fair) takes on matters both on and off the pitch.

For nearly two decades, his digital presence has been felt across countless match threads, heated debates, and historic cricketing moments. Whether you agreed with him or not, you always read him. And most likely, you responded too.

Fans of the forum are already expressing disbelief — and perhaps mild denial — at the possibility of a post-PakPassion era without its most enduring voice. A countdown has unofficially begun, with many hoping he’ll reconsider and stay on t go past 75k posts at least if not the coveted 100k mark.

68k done.

My final 1000 posts journey has begun.

The Last Time Is Now.

Are you really retiring at 69,000 or just a joke? :inti

I believe i have had it all. Seen India win 4 ICC tournaments and a test series in Australia (twice) on this forum.

The desire to post is dropping. I am not chasing the All Time Record anyway so maybe the recent declaration by South African captain on 367* was the Universe showing me signs.

I see.

There was another user here who retired at exactly 8000 posts. He never posted again. But, I see him logging in here sometimes.

I forgot the nickname. He was active here a few years ago.

This is my post #47000. :inti

I have also gone past JibranAnsari. I am now at #16 in terms of most posts on PP.

Planning to sign off from this great forum on 6/9/2025 at exactly 69k posts, closing the chapter with a grand tribute to my 69 favourite posters. A farewell, a celebration, and a nod to every conversation that made this journey worth every keystroke.

Started with the short-listing today and in time will be putting together a heartfelt 2-3 lines farewell note for each of them hopefully.

Goodbyes are hard but a part of life.

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Dear Forum Members,

As many of you know, I had previously announced my intention to permanently retire from PP upon reaching the 69k posts milestone to finally get my much needed break and to focus on my personal life.

However, it appears that another turbulent period in regional politics may be on the horizon. During such times, I do not feel comfortable leaving our beloved forum in a leadership vacuum. Mature heads are needed to help steer the younger members when passions are running high. With this in mind, I have decided to make an exception and postpone my retirement for the time being not for my selfish interests but for the sake of my juniors, my friends here and most importantly for the forum itself.

I regret that this decision may disappoint my friend @gazza619, to whom I had committed to retire in good faith. I hope, being a reasonable gentleman that you are, that you would understand the circumstances that have led me to this choice.

To my friends who encouraged me to stay @Rajdeep, @RedwoodOriginal, @DeadlyVenom, @BouncerGuy, @sweep_shot and many others, I am glad to continue engaging with all of you. I will remain active until this period of heightened tension subsides and peaceful times arrive.

Thank you all for your understanding and continued support.

Yours sincerely,
Bhaijaan

The entire region suffering from chaos, tensions and wars, is a small price to pay for your posts.

Thanks for this brave decision.

It's not a good look to break your promises like this. It means your words have no value.

4 more posts to go for my dear buddy @Bhaijaan

Bro, we Pakistanis believe in extension. We truly do. Whether you deserve an extension or not, if you push for it, you will get it.

I hereby start a movement for Bhaijaan to retire at 71k posts. That would be truly a tribute to India’s 1971 war achievements against Pakistan.

Good decision Bhaijaan. We sanatanis need your presence here as our flag bearer. This is more true now since ex flag bearer Joshila bhai is no longer regular.

Don’t have anything to say regarding number of posts but… man time flies

Remember making an account here from what seems like yesterday to vent frustrations with everyone else regarding our team, and the first major victory I was able to celebrate with everyone here was the epic
:afridi Masterclass in protagonist plot armor in the 2014 Asia cup from what I remember.

been 11 years since… hard to believe. Come across many posters some of whom started posting back then like @JaDed and those who were posting before our class of 2014, and new ones after and seeing everyone including myself change and grow in our personalities and views and values just by reading words on a screen by the same names through the years…

In Sha Allah we continue to grow and better ourselves in the next 11 years as well, Ameen.

Thanks brother for your understanding and support always. I’m not chasing any personal milestones now. The retirement is imminent. I am only here to perform my duties when the forum needs me the most.

On one hand is my Pratigya & on the other hand is Dharma & Duty. After thinking long and hard about it, I concluded that I cannot be selfish about my Pratigya and leave the forum in a leadership vacuum during wartimes.

I would recommend leadership group of PP to anoint Bhaijaan as a PP field Marshal so that he never retires.

I now have 52,307 posts.

Even though I am here since 2009 (I was mostly a lurker from 2009 till 2019), my posting really took off from 2019 WC. So, it took me around 6 years to write 52,307 posts (averaging around 8500 posts per year).

I hope to reach 100,000 posts by 2031 in sha Allah.
