He's been by far the most economical bowler so far (better than Siders and Broad) and has just now picked up the first wicket!

He still hasn't been that good. I don't think any of them have been good.

an awful delivery and awful dismissal. this is where Tamim can no longer paper over the cracks of what is essentially still a minnow. that said I wouldn't be surprised if the minnow won today, given the poor English bowling and strange decision to not bat first.

Bangla need a partnership or the innings is going south

MUCH better from Broad. deliberately dropping the pace of his bowling to notch a maiden, bringing the game grinding to a halt. this is what we need to see more of from English bowlers in Asia.

1st ODI: Bangladesh v England at Dhaka,

Bangla 110/3 after 19 overs

Tamim 78* Saqib 10*

Good chance for Bangla to put big total on board if they bat well from here!

KP has been topclass at mid-off. been tested regularly and has been up to the challenge.

Rahim bizarrely runs himself out and Mahmuddulahahahah chips to Collingwood first ball. 2 more awful wickets.

146/6

England have got themselves into a good position by doing next to nothing, a strange 2 hours...

Bangla 171/6

Tamim 102* he needs to bat through and get some support if Bangla are to post anything merely defendable!

209/6 with just over 10 overs to go...

Tamim playing a blinder here!

If Tamim bats through....big if I know, but you reckon we will see Sachin's record broken?

Well Naeem has just got out so I guess Tamim will have to strike out now.

214-9. Bangladesh should try and bat as much of the remaining overs. Great innings from Tamim, its unfortunate that he was the lone star in their batting lineup.

Barring Tamim this has been a poor batting effort from bangla,

Wonderful innings. This wicket is not as easy to bat on as it seems...few more run then who knows. BD have so many spinners tailer made for this pitch.

Well played Tamim Iqbal but should've played a better shot at that time and get his team upto atleast 250 at most

228 All out Bangladesh in 45.4 overs

This is not a similar type of pitch to the one in the tri-series. It is much lower and slower and has a lot of turn in it as demonstrated by Swann. Plus there is no dew on the ground as well. But still we needed 240+ to be comfortable. I would say England are on top but Bangladesh still have a healthy chance of winning this. Shakib, Mashrafe and Razzak need to be on the top of their game and we need to field as well as the English.

We need to kick this habit that when someone plays an awesome innings the other batsmen think it ok not to contribute. Mushfiq was looking good and was unlucky to be run out. Aftab deserves no sympathy as it was his call. And I don't understand if you are going to kick out Ashraful then why not clear the rest of the garbage from the team - Aftab and Zunaed. Disappointed with Riyad and Shakib.

Tamim is just awesome. By far the best batsman in the team and is only 20.

aftab , zunaed and naeem islam need to be dropped.

Cook living dangerously. Keeps trying to cut the ball when he shouldn't be. Still, pwnage so far.

:))) Prepare a slow and low turner to help your own bowlers and their 3 pronged spin attack is outbowled by Graeme Swann.

3.4 - Shakib Al Hasan to Kieswetter, FOUR, dropped So close for Shakib! Spun away, caught the edge and it went through the wicketkeeper's legs

3.6 - Shakib Al Hasan to Kieswetter, no run, oh dear! Trapped bang in front but somehow given not out, replays show it crashing into leg stump and Kieswetter is a very luck man

Unconvincing innings by Kieswetter - obviously tons of talent though, timing as good as Alec Stewart's.

Cook has been a revelation so far though.

Should be an easy victory for England.

166-3 after 33 overs.

Another good innings from Collingwood. 50 not out

Worst umpiring I have seen in a long time. Who is this idiot RJ Tucker? Mushfiq needs to be removed as keeper. The selectors are morons. They are prepared to have losers like Aftab and Zunaed in the team but don't want a specialist keeper and play Mushfiq as a specialist bat.

Decent fight by Bangladesh with the ball but they've been wel out classed, looks like an easy England win.

If the Bangles field better and get a proper wicket keeper they could pull off an upset in this series.
