Bangladesh will win the Asia Cup

Even though we haven't done too poorly

Our team is missing a very important batsmen in Tamim Iqbal. He has been averaging close to 55 in the last 3 years in ODIs. Tamim has a good record against Pakistan and India too.

If he was playing I'd back ourselves to beat Pakistan and be competitive against India Infact.

It's going to be difficult to beat Pakistan too tomorrow. But I hope the youngsters step up and perform
 
Win win for me tbh. Either Pakistan gets to the final and crushes and destroys India or I get to bump this thread when Bangladesh destroy and humiliate India
 
Here are two teams who have been hammered badly repeatedly in the tournament and still they are hoping to win the title by fluke.

These two best teams should play each other in bilateral tournaments. But they insist on playing against India for financial reasons. I wonder why these two best cricket teams fail to generate revenue from their cricket on their own.

I guess this fluke word is only used in cricket, havent seen teams in other sports winning cups by fluke. The team which plays better on the day takes the cup, its no rocket science and pretty simple to understand.

Problem is too many passengers are in the squad.Soumya, Mithun,Mominul,Shanto...it's very difficult to have a dependable playing eleven.Opening has never given us a good start in this tournament. If somehow we can manage a half century in the opening stand I shall strongly back my team to win tomorrow. We have been repeatedly asking too much to our middle and lower order. Top three havent contributed anything.
 
The fact that we went to finals without the service of Tamim and Shakib (was struggling anyways with injury) just tells you how good a team we have.

I want you guys to win but you have like no batting. Mahmudullah needs to smash a hundred in the Final.

Cant do that batting at 7 can he. Unfortunately we don't really have finishers. Maybe Ariful Haque can play

These 2 scores 40% of our total runs. Shakib is a key fielder and a quality spinner, vice captain too. So yeah I'd say these are big losses.
 
@OP while you were at it why not say BD - B team would win the Asia Cup? Without Tamim-Shakib it is a B team.
 
India is too strong but if they manage to get close their mental block against them and playing in the finals won't help. Though if there was anytime to announce BD have finally arrived big time then now is it.
 
Learn the lesson from Pakistani fans who predicted their team to become the champions without even reaching the final first. Such misplaced arrogance does not suit a Bangladeshi fan seeing that your cricket team has never won a tournament in history.

Well played i don't really like arrogance at times but today they gave good tough fight against us. They are improving which is good for cricket fans. Two Finals (Nidhas & Asia cup) both went to last ball so bangladesh need bit more work and they will start winning tournaments. Should try to be bit more down to earth though.
 
Unlucky guys but well played. A few things going your way and you would have won.
 
Frankly Asia Cup does not matter. It is a tournament that gives hopes and delusion of grandeurs to those teams who cannot do well in the world Cup. If World Cup cricket is like Olympics, then Asia Cup is just like SAFF games.
