There goes the NZ-WI match.

Bangladesh have won the toss and they are batting first.
The conditions look fine in Mirpur (is that in Dhaka?). It's the same pitch that was used for the Test against Sri Lanka. The cracks have opened up and the moisture has seeped through. So the seamers should have some help early on. Ashraful has decided to bat first so let's see if it turns out to be a brave decision or not.

Bangladesh: Mohammad Ashraful, Enamul Haque jnr, Junaid Siddique, Mahbubul Alam, Mahmudullah, Mashrafe Mortaza, Mehrab Hossain jnr, Mushfiqur Rahim, Naeem Islam, Tamim Iqbal, Nazmul Hossain, Rubel Hossain

Zimbabwe: P Utseya, V Sibanda, E Chigumbura, AG Cremer, KM Dabengwa, H Masakadza, S Matsikenyeri, CB Mpofu, T Mupariwa, T Taibu, F Mutizwa, RW Price

cricinfo is now saying Bangladesh is bowling first.
all the planning down the drain. Fikar not we can overcome this

Surely Bangladesh can at least win this game

The words : surely, Bangladesh and win; should never be used in a sentence together. :younis

I'm tipping the Zimbo's here, they aren't the worst batting side nowadays

Should be a good match. Although with Masakadza gone, excitement has gone down. He's the only entertainer in this match...

Is the hitter Masa or Chigum? I think the one in Canada T20 had name starting with C but he came higher up the batting order

Chigumbura tonked Kaneria around in the WC.

Is it just me or are Cricinfo struggling these days with their scorecards and commentary?

Every match they seem to have some problem or another, get the wrong bowler, give the wrong guy out, state facts which are wrong (Ponting putting finger up for one example) etc...

During the 3rd test day 5....their heading was "South Australia begins the run chase " something like that...

I guess non-Indian games bore them... as we believe in thoroughly entertaining everyone :P

My goodness.. 3 in a row.. he hit 2 of them for boundaries. He made a mockery of Sakib ul hasan.

Enter Jamal... :afridi

Ahh, what can I say? :D Ironman has laid it out, a ZIMBABWEAN is making a mockery out of "THE BEST TALENT OF BANGLADESH" (allegedly better than Afridi)

:)))

And Khabri, I am now Poison.:afridi

I stand corrected Sir Jamal 'Poison' Khan :afridi :inzi

Bangladesh struggling at 4/77 after 21 overs.

Amazing that Zimbabwe cricket remains even vaguely competitive after everything that has gone on. Their demise was a tragedy for cricket.

ridiculous dismissal from ash, only the wicket of rahim was "earned"...

but 33-4 u should still win chasing just 205, especially at home.

110/6 naeem playing slowly and shakib is just tha kkey from here

this match is very well over. Extremely poor performance from the Tigers.

And once again, Bangladesh lose. Doesn't seem to matter who the opposition is.

Great win for Zimbos they may get an extra loaf of bread from the Government for this win.

Well played Zimbabwe! They thoroughly deserved to win. They are a much much more disciplined side than the last Zimbabwe team that toured BD 2 years ago. Especially in bowling and fielding.

Chigumbura deservingly wins MoM.

A huge boo for Ashraful as he comes out to speak while the fans cheer Prosper Utseya.

A good move by the BCB, all the profits from this match will go to the family of Manjural Islam Rana, the former Bangladesh Test player who passed away in a tragic accident 2 years ago.

Zimbos beating Bangla, u thought it couldnt get any worse for bangladesh!

I think I should get a prize here. :younis

I know BD domestic games are much more organized than Pakistan but they need to send their A team to Patrons Trophy or Indian domestic competitions. The gap between BD international players and other countries is far too big and can only be removed by regularly playing against better competition.

Do they have an A team?

BD players are only young and they are on learning curve atm. Give them 10 years and they shall be world beaters by then :)))

Utseya surprised BD by introducing himself in the very 2nd over and choked the run flow. I don't know where exactly are BD going.

They have to beat one team before beating the world.

Where or what did Ponting allegedly put his finger up?
You mean Pointing ? :D

Another dismal performance from Bangladesh! Congratulations to Zimbabwe! I'm glad they won something, now on to trouble Sri Lanka again!

Bangladeshi players do have the talent but they just lack the mental strength and belief that they can win regularly.

Its only a matter of time before they turn it around.

They do however need a leader to instill this self belief and at the moment that doesnt look like Ashraful.
