I keep trying to knock my bat in, with a mallet and the toe still leaves a few seam
Marks. I oiled the bat 3 to four times with a cloth and left it overnight. I try to knock the toe but it doesnt seem to get properly knocked bc very very slight seam marks appear (not alot) when I hit a ball against it. Am I doing something wrong?

no the toe takes time, along time, when i knock in a bat the only thing i knock in is the edges and the toe.

Remember dont overknock the bat , You have done nothing wrong Toe takes time for example before my every match i i knock my grey nicolls toe before going to bat and believe me this realy works Got this tip from Mathew Hayden :umarakmal

The toe is annoying, especially if the handle shakes when the ball strikes hard. I think the best advice is said above - knock in the toe before the match starts.

I have been trying to knock the toe of my new CA plus 10,000 for about 2 hours now. Still doesn't seem to be working. Give the same dead/unknocked sound
