I have question for experienced people here .
Lets just say I couldn't find a bat mallet.
In that case how will I knock in the bat
Can i use old ball or iron mallet?
In case i did not find linseed oil
Is there any replacment like using coconut oil or some other oil
Which in terms are easily available.

No you don't wanna take chances with oils other than linseed and definitely do not use an iron mallet, lol. If you can't find linseed oil, you can use bat tape.

It's fine to use a softened old ball until you find a mallet. Take it easy though.

Thanks for help actually I live in small city and more chances are that I wont find these things here.

If you use an old ball, cover the ball with a cloth. Don't wanna leave marks on the bat.

You should be able to find linseed oil even in a small town. If you don't find the tape or oil, it's fine but the bat might not last as long.

Thnx for help
Infact I used to play softball cricket uptill now but now I thought of starting the hardball cricket as technique is more suitable for it.

Linseed oil and a decent mallet can be purchased online. they will deliver to your doorstep.

consider it an investement in your bat, the better the preparation, the better it will pay you back.

cheers

I never bought online and never will. I dont trust them. Secondly they'll never know my address. Many people from my own city find it hard to find my house. Perhaps I ll buy those from another city when visit it.
