Sometimes they are referred to as part timers. Sometimes they are called partnership breakers. Have seen quite a lot of batters being very good with secondary discipline as part timers. Not to be confused with allrounders, who are usually 2 in one.

Who's you favorite one?

There's a big list. Pak has Haris Sohail, Azhar Ali, Shan Masood. Aus have Smith, Labuschagne, Head, Finch. India have Jadhav, Kohli, Rohit. NZ have Kane. SA have Faf, Elgar. and so on.

My favorite has to be Michael Clarke. His fast darters were extremely effective and he even won a few matches with his bowling. Quite a shame that he stopped bowling after persistent injuries.

Graeme Smith was another one who used to have good SLAO. Even took a 3 fer in an ODI in Aus if i can remember. Never really used it in later career.

Simon Katich was a very under rated SLAC. Spun it big. Took 5 fers as well I think.

MS Dhoni was exemplary with utilizing part timers to a great effect. I remember Kohli choking us out in wt20 2012.

Tendulkar.. broke many partnerships and got a man of match for a fiver against Oz after scoring 1 run.

The greatest part-timers (in other words) are as follows:-

Viv Richards
Sachin Tendulkar
Michael Clarke
Joe Root
Paul Collingwood( in tests)
JP Duminy

Might have missed a few more. But I think currently, its Joe Root. Clarke is my favourite for tests, left arm spin, beautiful action.

Paul Collingwood was a batting allrounder. A very underrated player overall too.

Kane Williamson pre suspension in 2014, was a very good offie. Outbowled Bruce Martin and Sodhi as well.

SRT was an underrated spinner. Very clever with his changes of pace and could actually turn the ball and bowl a pretty sharp googly.

Haris Sohail is really, really, really high up. Pity he just doesn’t have the stamina as a batsman.

When was the last time any of our batsmen bowled?

This. He almost stopped bowling at the later part of his career but he had more variations than Yasir and quite a few other specialist spinners. A natural turner of the cricket ball. Got 150+ ODI wickets too.

Kohli and Rohit are not even part timers lol. I am absolutely okay with the fact that we don't have a part timer as our specialist bowlers are good enough to take 10/20 wickets.

And a 70 mph semi up quicker ball as a surprise delivery too. I remember the likes of Flening and Justin Kemp being bowled by those.

Rohit used to bowl earlier in the career. Dhoni used to make Kohli bowl medium frequently as well.

Azhar should've bowled more when he was a bit younger. I thought he was better than a part timer as a leg spinner.

I know but as the OP stated bowling should be a secondary skill for a part timer, just knowing how to deliver the ball to the batsman with one bounce is not bowling. Kohli has 4 international wickets and Rohit has 10 after decade long careers and hundreds of matches. I don't think it is fair calling them part timers.

Michael Clarke springs to mind. I think Azhar Ali and Joe Root are decent options at times and can certainly bowl more.

Tendulkar

At his absolute best, he was one quality spinner and it's a frightening thought given he's the GOAT batsman candidate along with only Bradman.

Younis could have been a better dibbly-dobbler than Chris Harris and Mark Ealham etc.

He had a really good seam position. I remember him dismissing Jayawardene and Samaraweera in overcast conditions years back and they were genuinely good deliveries and not just fluke wickets by a part-timer.

If Pakistan had a smart captain, he would have utilized his bowling potential and got him to bowl a few tidy overs every now and then even in in ODI cricket.

Clarke was really good and so is Haris.

Root can actually be a better spinner than Moeen if he practices hard for a few months.

Ricky Ponting.

He could bend it like Beckham but never needed to because he had the likes of McGrath, Lee, Clark, Gillespie, Kasperowicz, Braken, and others like McDermott and Reifel to share the load.

As others have also mentioned, Haris (my favorite part-timer because he makes it look so nonchalant), Root, and Allan Border.

Michael Bevan. Left arm wrist spinners are a rare breed and they can always cause problems. Darren Lehmann was useful too.

Teenda was a decent bowler. He could really turn his leggies and I'm sure that he bowled off-spin too at one point although I could be wrong.

Remember Ganguly bowling well in Canada too. I think he ran through Pakistan twice during that cup.

Never seen him play but heard Mudassar Nazar was a decent bowler too back in the day. His one day record seems very good so perhaps he was a bit more than a part timer?

In the current international squads - Joe Root is useful and Lambushange is a half decent bowler too.

Inzamam up Haq has gone on record to say he never had an issue playing Warne and Murali but he never could read Tendulkar's wrong one. :inzi :srt
