I think Indians at this point are not a "developing country" anymore and are quite happy with whoever does the job best. It doesn't have to be a foreigner.

Not at all. India are taking their cricket seriously now unlike Pakistani players who carry pot bellies.

It used to be India's batsmen vs Pakistan's bowlers.

Now India still has awesome batsmen and decent bowlers, while Pakistan has mediocre batsmen and average bowlers. Pakistan regressed in their bowling while India improved. We need to step our game up.

If we go by the best talent for the job, then it could be a foreigner or an Indian. Indian coaches have done very well lately, so it may well be an Indian who is the best talent. But it could be Moody too, in which case he deserves a chance.

As for mickey Arthur, I see him as a person, who tries to put the blame on others. Yes, players at fault too but he seems like throw all the blame toward the players and keep the resume clean as much as possible.

He'll be that boss in an office who will not step up to save his employees when tides are against.

Seems unfair to dismiss Kumble just on the basis of the players complaining, his track record with the team since taking over a year ago does not merit dismissal yet. Kumble will be entitled to file a suit for wrongful dismissal.

Influential captains who had authority and set an exampke with his franchise team(kohli/sarfaraz saga) has improved fitness standards for india.
It remains to be seen what happens if kohli fails as a captain. But he himself is too good of a player to loose matches due to captaincy.

He is a great coach and India should pick him as a full time coach. Guy did a lot with Srilanka

Personally speaking, I think Tom Moody reminds me of Greg Chappell. Whereby there's way too much talk of his acumen etc. guys like that struggle to break through against senior players because they are trying to bring about a revolution rather than incremental progress.

Looks like Kohli wants someone who keeps on praising him and just listens everything told by him! If there is problem in Kumble's coaching, then we have all seen the problems with Kohli's captaincy as well! (In both cases Indian team have still done well!) We have not seen Kumble's mistakes, but Kohli's mistakes are visible on the field! So, should we apply the same theory to remove Kohli from captaincy? I actually want Kohli as a pure player and concentrate fully on his batting and game!

I don't think indian team needs any foreign coach any more or even high profile indian coach. They should go with some low profile coach like banger or Sridharan. Team has so much of talent, professionalism, etc and each player is willing to learn and improve. I am sure they will start winning away tours consistently, With or without great coach.
