hahahahah .
bcci - sorry government didnt allowed our player to play with pakistanis with current circumstances which will end in champions trophy.

How selfish. You want players from all around the world to come with NOC's to play in your league and make it hit. But stop players like Pathan to earn some extra cash by playing in another league. I want to see how IPL fans are going to react on this. Are they with BCCI on this or Irfan? JaDed Napa

When they want it, players and boards are happy to oblige it. They are not forcing others to do it.

Any reason why they pulled back NOC? Pretty stupid decision to give NOC then pull it back on match day without any major reason..

Very disappointing as Indians living in Bahrain were really looking forward to see him play there. But as they say in Urdu "Jiss kee lathee, uss kee bhains"

Its selfish mate of BCCI to do this and I agree with you.

But here is the thing why are you selectively angry at BCCI?You seem to have no problem when other boards would take a similar stand.

Their country their rules. I am only concerned about my country and team here. Anything else?

But the principle stand should remain the same shouldn't it irrespective of the situation,in the same logic why do you care about Big 3 concept or ICC,it could be there country and let them deal with BCCI in the same logic.

How can your stand change based on which country is involved?

lol what? Where did i change my stand? All the countries are giving NOC's for IPL as per their schedules and calling back players for national duties but BCCI doesn't allow its players to play in other leagues at all. Since you guys care about players families, their bank balance more than anyone you should be the one speaking against BCCI first.

Let me repeat my only concern is Indian cricket. What right do I have to say that PSL is killing Pakistan cricket? You can check I didn't even post in threads related to PSL but I have the right to criticise IPL or BCCI as an indian fan.

Not surprised by this despicable action from BCCI, I would be the happiest Indian living who would love to see this coterie of reprehensible goons go up in flames.

You are a cricket fan you have right to criticize any T20 league, and you have genuinely criticized T20 leagues as such, not saying regarding that,My point is regarding other boards ,incase they don't allow their players to participate in IPL or being asked to rest without appropriate compensation which if i'm not wrong you support Boards in that situation.

Also if you are not allowed to talk against PSL then half of the comments in this thread is from Pakistani posters ,they shouldn't be as well but they can because its a thread and open forum and issue.

The only reason haven't done is because there isn't any other source yet,but BCCI was in the wrong when they denied Yusuf for Hong Kong one.

I don't see any problem, as long as BCCI is compensating the player (s). It's their policy & they are good to it, as long as any individual is losing out an earning opportunity.

You are getting it wrong. It's not that I am not allowed to speak on PSL its just that I don't think I should care.

How do we know they have been compensated, he better be otherwise this is pathetic but even if he is the indians in bahrain were cheated out of seeing Irfran it's pretty moronic to pull out Irfan at the last hour

Have to see a couple of things.

When was he given NOC? Before he got selected for Gujarat Lions in IPL as a replacement?

RP Singh also played this competition btw.

I wonder why was he given the NOC.May be since he wasnt picked in the IPL. If you play the IPL you are not given NOC to play T20 elsewhere. But if he was given the NOC and he travelled to Baharain he should have been allowed to play, this adhoc idiots sitting in the BCCI are just facepalm:

Regarding why Indians are not allowed in other T20 leagues, well they are well compensated by the IPL for that.Secondly the BBL/SA T20 league is played in the Indian home season so obviously they will have to play in India and cant go elsewhere.Indians obviously wont play in the PSL.

I don't know, that's why I said as long as. If they are not compensating than obviously it's not acceptable. But, as I can understand, he was given NOC & then they revoked it, therefore I believe there might be a settlement which we don't know.

If he got compensation fine, what about the fans who bought tickets expecting to see Irfan pathan?

Irfan's father already answered such remarks by Miandad during the early 2000's :srt

A son does not have to be the same person his father is. If person X's father is a drunkard, he should not be judged based on that, for he is a different individual who can have completely different actions and beliefs.

Irfan bhai is innocent. :amla

Sons are actually even more patriotic obviously, source when they answered to Shoaib Malik :ma ,keep going mate!

Compensated or not this is not good for the organisers of the league who maybe depended on IKP for attracting crowds. Unless BCCI knows something which we don't know its a disappointing step.

BCCI is a heartless board which I am sure most Indians would agree
