"Mention must be made of Amir also. When the game was on the line in Eden Park and here, he's turned up for us and that's testimony to his character. I've always said he's a big match player and he hasn't got the wickets he possibly deserves over the past year but he's won us games and when the game is on the line, he's wanted the ball and he wants the pressure situations so I'm really happy for him."

Can't call the tour to be a failure for Pak now. Lost the ODI series but won the T20 series. If someone wants to argue that ODI cricket holds more value then it's a different story.

The tour would not have been a failure if Pakistan had won 2 ODIs. This tour is by and large a failure for Pakistan although t20i series win has made it a little more respectable.
