There have been some excellent spells bowled by many in the last 3 years. What do you think is the best one that changed the match or even the series?

Mine is the one not many would mention or perhaps went unnoticed I think. It's Dhammika Prasad's series winning spell in England. That was also a match superb knock from Mathews, who scored 160 in 3rd innings after England got a 100 lead. That set up the match for Sri Lanka and to everyone's surprise, Prasad bowled arguably the best spell in England in the last decade, who looked like getting a wicket of every delivery. That spell left England tottering at 50-5 going into the final day. Sri Lanka's victory was imminent, but Moeen Ali played a very non-moeenesque innings, batted through out the day by scoring an unbeaten 100 of 280 balls(that was another brilliant knock that went unnoticed), only for Anderson to get bounced out of the penultimate ball of the match giving Sri Lanka a memorable series victory in England.

There was a thread about the best innings. Was surprised that no one mentioned Mathews knock. Had that been played by Indian/Pakistani/Aussie/English, we would still be hyping and discussing about the brilliance of that innings.

Stuart Broad - 8/15 v Australia, Trent Bridge was legendary....he literally humiliate ausis

Mitchell Johnson 7 vs South Africa at Centurion was fearsome

Quite a few actually,
Broad -8fer,
Ishant 7fer,
Dhamika prasad spell
Ashwin vs England Mumbai
Jadeja 7fer considering it was a flat pitch
Yasir at lords
Rabada 13fer against England was exceptional as well.

I have mentioned about that inngs infact only this one, it was one hell of an innings a sterling performance

It was just so blatantly obvious that matthews knew exactly what england's tactics were and was counteracting them perfectly

And true that if it was one of the most underrated knock ever....no surprise since mathews is a non pak-indian

I watched every ball of his innings. Man that was the best innings I have ever seen. Literally made English bowlers cry and brutally exposed Cook's captaincy. Good hand from Herath too. And Eranga just smashed at the end by scoring a quick 20 to put the final nail in England's coffin.

I still thought England could chase 350 or at least draw as the pitch was still decent for batting. But then Prasad happened.
