I see a lot of people talking about this at the moment. Whilst there are legitimate crypto-currencies around as ever with anything genuine a level of marketing and get rich quick scam artists attach themselves to the trend to make money out of unsuspecting victims.

Bitcon is legal? I mean from what I understand it is one of the means to launder money anonymously

Bitcoin isn't not scam many big companies now accept bitcoin as a way to pay for their online services specially for hosting/server/domains etc and if i am not wrong it's the 3rd most popular way of paying online after Paypal and Credit Card payments. The downside of bitcoin is that it is being used to remain anonymous while doing illegal/criminal activities online.
