Apparently it will be a sequel following Jesse after the series finale. Aaron Paul is scheduled to return to reprise his iconic role.

Honestly I had my reservations when I first heard about it since I preferred the ambiguity surrounding Jesse's survival after the series ending and had my concerns that it might negatively affect the perfect legacy of Breaking Bad.

But then again I had similar apprehensions regarding Better Call Saul and now that it's the best show currently on TV so I have nothing but faith in Vince Gilligan.

I was of the same opinion as well but imo Vince Gilligan is a genius and is the only one who could do justice with Jesse's story.

It could work as it will focus only on Jesse, so they won't need to drag in over the hill characters from the tv series. But that said, the charm of Jesse himself was that he was a school dropout stoner. Now he'll be 30-ish will he still have the same pull?

I know Better Call Saul has been a success, but it still looks a bit weird seeing all the main characters looking obviously older when they are supposed to actually be younger as it is a prequel.

Cranston will probably only be in flashbacks or in Jesse's hallucinations.

The one thing that disappointed me about Felina is that we didn’t get a resolution for Jesse.

Am glad it's a sequel as I am yet to complete better call saul, watched a season or two and then forgot about it but it was quality as well
