I used to play Travian and Travians back in the days (10-15 years ago).

I have returned to playing Travian about 2 weeks ago. Nostalgia.

Is anyone into browser-based games? :inti

Travian is a strategy game.

You start off with a village. You have to develop economy and military. You can make allies and form an alliance. You can go to war individually and with alliance. You can convert your village and make it a city. Pretty cool concept.

You can also found multiple villages/cities.

It feels like running a country.

I love strategy games too maybe not browser games, Rise of Nations,Age of empires, Anno AD, Cesar 3 were some of my favs.

I use browser games at best for arcade kind or to play directly on ubisoft both of which i haven't since 3 years.

I see.

Travian used to be very popular 10-15 years ago. I see popularity has decreased but I am still seeing lots of players.

I mostly play PS5 games but I have returned to Travian again (probably one final time).

I never played console games, wasn't allowed to have one as a kid(or couldn't afford) but was given an assembled PC, so all my games are mostly PC based.

I know of Travian , clash of clans etc..

I had no such restrictions when it came to consoles. Only restriction was phone. I got my first phone when I was in Grade 9. LOL.

I heard of Clash of Clans. Never tried it.

Anyway, I love Travian. It feels like running a country --> making allies, doing diplomacy, doing wars, developing economy, building an army etc.

Used to love a picture recognition game called BBorS in 6th grade. Good old arcade days.
