Mandela became SA president in 1994 and India never cared about what the world called Mandela up until then. india was the first country to visit SA after their readmission into ICC and the first thing Indian cricketers did as asked by the government of the day was to meet Mandela at the ANC headquarters to show their support to him, way back in 1991. If i were to explain you in a simple manner - India officially respected and honoured Mandela more than Pakistan does its hero say Hafiz Saeed.

Foolish equivalence. Bhagat Singh was Indian, for me he was a freedom fighter as he was fighting vs a foreign occupier that directly affected Indians. i dont need subjectivity about some bearded guy in a cave planning to blow up public places. Doesn’t hold the same emotional value for me.

You can't attack another nation and then when they hit back you cry about ceasefire.
