I understand that in some eyes we are already there so Sethi's job is easy as in just needs to do what has already been done but what can he do to really make a difference now?

Problem is that him being a part of the previous regime means that he cannot criticize that so all he can is to come up with more things to improve upon.

So what will be his game now?

I see what you did there :trump2

As for the question, I don't think so. He's a corrupt individual and has been elected chairman with no merit.

Someone with a shady past and not known for integrity.

But he has his plus points as well as he is pretty good with diplomatic stuff and gets things done. The PSL is an example of that even though there were more people behind the tournament. Also how he arranged series for Pak in 2014 while Shahryar did nothing this year facing a similar situation.

In the end we can't expect wonders from this guy but hope for the best. I really hope he gets going instead of waiting and being stubborn ala Shahryar.

He has all the potential in the world! He is probably the best cricket administrator ever.

As long as Sethi does not give wrong statements in media everyday, I am OK with him.

As long as he's doing good for Pakistan cricket why does it matter which party or media group he belongs to? I think he's better compared to many admins and doing a good job.

PCB for the second year running has recalled their players from leagues and county. This doesn't look good and if Sethi was a good Administrator he should have picked up on these conflicts.

Going by your title and the inner-joke, Let's hope he gets impeached soon and we get someone more suitable.

:D

No he can't as the reason being if he had an ounce of any cricketing knowledge, then he would not revoke the NOC's of players in leagues especially the ones playing in the UK like Amir and Fakhar Zaman.

sethi is the biggest hope for revival of international cricket in pakistan

we need him

It's contagious...:))

as soon sethi became part of the pcb we managed to host zimbabwe and were able to bring psl final to lahore

he is also the driving force behind psl

if you don't see these things because of your bias and agenda then I can't help you

My prediction is that Pakistan fans will be so proud of the PCB under Sethi. He'll turn things around and start winning on the administrative and diplomatic side, in fact winning on every level. You guys will win so much you may even get tired of winning and you'll say 'please please Mr Chairman it's too much winning we can't take it anymore'.

On a more serious note, give the man a chance he may end up surprising a lot of people.

I'm sorry but the PSL had been in the works for years. Getting Zimbabwe over wasn't a bigger of deal as was trying to get Bangladesh/SL/WI etc.

To just think Sethi is the driving force behind anything positive about Pakistan cricket is laughable.

Good start from him too...he's already called the players over from the CPL and County duties to play back home where they won't be tested...yep, excellent timing and foresight that.

He is of the same cloth as Sharif and people of that ilk, and if you can't see that I can't help but laugh at your ignorance.

The sooner you realise Sethi is incapable of committing any wrong the better. :))

The better for ...?

I'll never trust a man that actively and continuously lies on tv and his social media, and a man that Sharif trusted so much he was behind his inclusion in the seat he's sitting on right now.

Spare me the BS about Sethi and how he's done good.

I am afraid you are not living up to your reputation as a detective (and my favourite detective at that). ;)

I get your point about [I might as well agree that Sethi is good just to appease the few fans on here]. I'm trying to tell you I don't have any regards to what these Sethi fanatics think on how we should view his "accomplishments".

It's a win-win for Pakistan. You got a great diplomat who cannot be removed from the PCB powerhouse due to political interference.
