I'd refer you to my other thread about an early arrival!
Australia is a lot like England. Good bowling attack but only two established top class batsmen (Smith and Warner).
Two batsmen - Burns and Khawaja - are so wobbly that they have just had to be dropped in Colombo.
A third - Adam Voges - will be 37 years old, and while he has a great record against the West Indies and on dead tracks v New Zealand, his entire career record against better attacks or on less-batting friendly wickets reads
V England: 31, 1 , 25, 16, 0, 1, 51*, 76
V Sri Lanka: 47, 12, 8, 28
V NZ on a sporting wicket: 13, 28
Then you have Mitch Marsh at 6, averaging just 23.39
And then Peter Nevill at 7, averaging just 22.50.
So to sum up, this is the Australian batting order:
1. David Warner - excellent player
2. Joe Burns - just been dropped
3. Usman Khawaja - just been dropped
4. Steve Smith - excellent player
5. Adam Voges - geriatric flat track bully
6. Mitchell Marsh - averages 23.39
7. Peter Nevill - averages 22.50
