Can we now claim that India has no answers to Moeen Ali?

I have been following Moeen Ali ever since his earlier series against India back in 2013. Since then he has performed exceptionally well against all Indian teams across formats and India had no answer to his relentless bowling.

They have neither been able to defend or attack him and as a result Moeen had bagful of wickets everytime he bowled against India till this day.

Unfortunately, Indians are no longer good players of spin as they were back in the 90s and 2000s and Moeen exploited this perfectly. He seems to have the right recipe to tie them down and restrict their scoring and also gets wickets.

He's done well against India in England in tests. Outside of that, he's been mediocre. Good addition to the IPL, though. Exposed Kuldeep.

There is more to cricket than stats alone. Playing against India brings the best out of Ali and he has superior stats against India than against any other test playing nation.

In tests, his returns are good, considering the fact that he has bowled in English conditions too.
In odis, his bowling is not that potent.
Considering his shot making abilities you expect a lot from him but somehow he just doesn't deliver

Moeen Ali is Sam Curran without GUTS.

And for CSK fans, be prepared to watch Moeen warm the bench while Sam Curran plays most of the game for CSK. He is their young shining star.

Generally what you are saying is true. Mooen has had many match-winning performances against India with the ball, and has batted very well too. However, "Moeen had bagful of wickets everytime he bowled against India till this day" is not correct. In the 2016/17Test series in India when England got hammered 4-0, Mooen averaged 64.90 with the ball after having played all 5 games.

Not sure what you are talking about. Indians paid big bucks to get him in IPL despite nothing performances until last year. If at all, there's a mystery as to why he was picked.

Some Indians fans also targeted him with racial and religious slurs on Twitter. You can probably still find those tweets if you search for them. A section of Indian fans seems to have intense hatred for Moeen which is weird considering he is a pretty humble cricketer.

I guess being a bearded Muslim is enough to get some Indians fans to dislike you.
